Circumcision Scar

Hello all, I’ve been pumping on and off for a couple years but trying to get more serious with a Bathmate. I couldn’t find anything after a quick search of the forums about this, so here goes: As of recently, my circumcision scar seems to get tender and red near the base of my penis after a pumping session. I’ve tried keeping it lubed or moisturized before/during/after pumping, but only taking time off really helps heal it.

I guess my questions are: is this normal? Is there a way to keep pumping? Is this the scar “lengthening” with my growth? Or is time off the only way to deal with this? It’s not that painful, but it’s definitely sensitive and gets irritated if I try to keep pumping before fully healed.

Any helpful information or ideas is much appreciated.

Right now it’s just 3 or 4 sets at 8-10 minutes. Some manual stretching after.

Try to keep sets 5 minutes and under. This should alleviate the circumcision irritation. Also do stretching before pumping.

I would think you would need to wait until all the deep tissue swelling has gone so 8mo-1yr but possibly longer is better

Lighten up on the vacuum pressure and duration. As DLD said, take the time to do a warmup and dialed it back and use the SRT - 5x5x3 routine and see if it makes a difference.
