Yeah wasn't gonna try selling it here, more of a general question if people have luck selling their gear they don't use.
I find the base to harsh against the under side of the penis at the base. Actually broke skin once. Unfortunately it doesn't show how much vacuum you are using. I may have been over using it. I have the extreme version and I was pumping til the white tube would not go any further.. Basically max vacuum.

I see the problem. You use the "comfort insert". It's no good. I can't use it.
What I do is that I greases in the "gator" (rubber part against the body) with Vaseline (also a little on the inside as well). You need to shave the "fat pad" as well.
First I tie a bandage around my balls in order to keep them away from the pump. You can also wrap the balls entirely if that works for you. Since I'm a big expander, and the "gator" always gets me. I wind a small piece of bandage around the base of my penis, and tuck it in on itself. You don't need hard windings.
I need to fold a regular beige bandage on the half, since I only want protection AND a little compression at the base.
This strip of bandage, also make it so that my penis doesn't deform to a mushroom shape. The strip of bandage also protect you from the "gator".
How I pump:
I push the pump manually first agains my "fat pad". In this state I also adjust the pump (when I do not have much pressure). For example to make sure my pensis is in the middle of to pump. Also sometimes adjust the skin. I just slide the pump on my skin.
When I can't get in no more pressure I attach the external pump. I do not force the pressure. In the first set, I can't have maximum pressure. Often I have the highest pressure in the last 2 minutes of the set.
The reson I can't use the comfort insert is due to the reson that my penis expand in girth to much. But also that my glans get stuck on the end pipe of the comfort insert.
I hope this method will work for you.
I only give you this advice since, it sounds like you have resently bought the pump. I had the same type of thoughts as you in the beginning. Like, I can never use this pump.
They say the
MITYVAC is better in this regard. Because there is not comfort with the
Bathmate. You get used to the "gator". You will always feel some discomfort, if you are a person that can't use their "comfort insert", and/or you are a big expander in girth.
If you think about it, your penis is expanding into this kind of structure if you do not use the comfort insert (somewhat exaggerated):
