I'll make the same decision.

Unfortunitely, I am cut. If there is one thing I could never forgive my parents for it would be that they had me mutilated as a child, having my foreskin cut for no purpose. We are made that way for a reason, only in true medical emergencies should circumsicion be an option, parents should leave it up to their offspring's decision.

Circumcision has nothing to do with health reasons and more to do with cosmetics. Doctors love to sell the idea to parents because medical procedures are profitable. Doctors are always scalpel happy.

Great news---My son was born yesterd evening! The nurse tried to talk us into getting him cut and even acted like she misunderstood us when we said NO--3 fucking times! She finally asked why--she had no answer when I told her the APA no longer endorses it. She then gave me the other "medical" arguments I love"

1. "It's cleaner"---sure it is--It's a good thing my wife and I have access to soap and water and can teach him to clean himself. If we cut out all of a kids teeth, think of all the trips to the dentist we could save OR we could just teach him to clean his penis AND brush his teeth.

2. "He needs to be cut if you are so he won't feel different"---really---I am 37 years old and I have no idea if my dad is cut--in fact, I don't ever remeber even seeing his penis and I can't imagine my son seeing mine---

Really, I think we're largely stuck with what we're born with. I'm cut and I'm fine with it. Anyway, foreskin restoration is a lot of work and never completely replaces the alledged benefits of the foreskin. At the same time, circumcision is an absolute bitch of a procedure to go through as an adult. So...I say just live with what you have.

I disagree abit I think Pen. The point is--when he is older and he wants it done--it'll be his choice. If I take it from him now, all the restoring in the world will never give him back what I took. I agree that it's probably a bitch when you are an adult, but at least it will be his decision to make to have something cut off from his body.

The procedure is actually less traumatic as an adult. One your penis is fully grown or mostly fully grown. The foreskin has detached from the glans. Also you can get Anesthesia, either local or otherwise. Also you can prolly decide how far to go through with it, partial etc. But the main gist of it is that the person who does it can make his own decision to modify his own body.

I do not think that males should be altered. The skin is there for a reason.
For me, I was cut without my permission and am not happy with that.
I have been restoring and can say that I know why males are born and are supposed to have a foreskin. There is more feeling!! I have so much more feeling and knowing from experience of not having a foreskin before. So, keep your foreskins and if you have any sons, let them keep them also. If someone does not have one, then restore.
Also, as far as clean is concerned, just wash it. There is nothing wrong with having a foreskin and keeping it clean.
