Anyone having any expertise with setting up Windows XP Media Edition for TV?

Something ain't right. This shit is complicated as hell to a computer illiterate like me. Is anyone out there knowledgable is setting this stuff up and we be able to explain the procedures and perhaps answers questions I might run into?

I build PC, and set-up media edition. Usualy it's click next. What's the issue?

This has been ironed out. The problem was I was trying to have my buddy help me out over the phone and was opening up the Sony VAIO media center, which is a seperate program on VAIOs. Since the original post, I have successfully recorded two programs, though I'm now trying to get finalized on exporting the video to my TV show I can watch it on a larger screen that is more suited to TV-like viewing. Thanks for your response.
