I have been going to the gym now for over a year and just recently have been going consistently 2 to 3 times a week for the past 3 months. I am usually doing a range of machines as well as some free weights to build upper body strength and Leg strength
Anyway 4 days ago I went and was just doing treadmill for about 20 minutes, I then went and started doing dunbells and during my first set I got this huge pain on the back of my neck just wear it connects to the skull. I thought perhaps i didn't warm up enough or something and just thought it was a one off incident. I didnt continue to train that day i just went home. Today I was starting my session after fully warming up and the agonizing pain came back. This pain just throbs and it doesnt seem like I have pulled a muscle because you dont use your neck muscles for either of the exercises i was doing.
Does anyone have any Idea what is going on? I will go see a doctor about it in the next few days but it is very annoying since I was really starting to do well at the gym and tonning up very nicely
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers!
