Acute L-Arginine supplementation does not increase nitric oxide production in healthy subjects

Here is a research paper that go over why L-Arginine supplementation is not the best choice.
L-Citrulline supplementation is much better.

I have attached a .pdf file in this post.
Let the discussion flow.

Thanks, my brother. I never really completely understood this until now.

I believe there was a study on the short life of L-critrulline and toxicity overburden of nitric oxide articles as well from too much continuous usages. I'll run through the research servers again for the articles. Good to have info to support preventative health of the brothers.

If you want to upload a .pdf file, you need a desktop PC, or a laptop.
Just drag the file to the text window for writing posts. That is if it's free to share. Better to have a local backup to keep threads secured for the future.

Did you find it?

@squirt_inducer_man Found a few of the prior articles and still looking for the bioaccumulative and biochemical interactions causing the accumulation leading to toxicity.

Three files to read through. If you don't understand them, we'll discuss them more in detail. However, each file contains extensive studies from health and benefits to toxicity generation due to certain activities, interactions of other foods/drugs, and health issues while taking arginine/citrulline/increase of nitric oxide in the blood.

For those who are not into scientific and medical research documents, this might fly right over your head within the first few pages. If you think you hit on a subject matter within these documents, we can really get into the nitty-gritty details.

Thank you, I have downloaded these files, I will read them when I have some time to spare.

High level of nitric oxide bioavailability leads to acute toxicity. This is one of many articles that describe about high levels of nitric oxide in our blood from supplements and diets can lead to many issues. However, proper diets and control of available nitric oxide levels in our blood will yield better benefits. So, don't go crazy with 5g per day although the "it's safe" messages tend to pop up over and over again.
