MityVac pump - zero vacuum

Just received the mity vac, zero vacuum, both air and hydro.
Placed finger on end of hose from handle, vacuum, attach to pump, none.
Suspect is the o-ring, read forum, tightened slightly, loosened slightly, did not over tighten, zero vacuum.
What now….

Worth noting, dry setup only, after pumping 50 times and it going back to zero almost instantly, it was slowly holding vacuum, every few pumps after the 50 so pumps, it was bleeding back to zero at a slower pace, eventually holding, must have been darn near 80 pumps though. Went in hard btw so it wasn’t as if it had a ton of air to remove.

@DLD and sale's team will get this resolved. If pumping after 5 to 7 times doesn't hold pressure by pressing your finger against the barb end of the pump, you have a warped or bad o-rings internally. It happens.

Something must have come loose during shipping.
I adjusted some things and it seems to be holding vacuum fairly well atm.
I’ll let you guys know if anything changes?
