It's not painful... When flaccid there is a density to it, though I did do a workout a few hours ago so it may not have been the best time to check it. Upon close inspection it seems there are two veins, one thicker than the other.

yes :) thanks for asking, it is just a cyst which I still have. It doesn't get in the way at all. There may be some that aren't that lucky though.
