Apparently the longer the ring finger is compared to the middle finger, the more attractive a male will be judged to be by the opposite sex.
The ratio between the fingers is known to be linked to sex hormones, with a lower ratio – a longer ring finger than index finger – an indication of exposure to testosterone in the womb.
This could in turn lead to more attractive and symmetrical features, it was claimed.
The ratios have previously been linked to fertility, sexuality and competitiveness.

Also before stating women don't care about looks, think of all the woman drooling over the likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney
Other than features which are determined by hormones, I think a general athletic physique with a good shoulder to waist ratio (v-shape) is appreciated by all women, although there will certainly be specific areas that arouse some women more than others.
I think woman do notice physical appearance as much as men as it is the first thing to notice on first contact. After a short while other things become just as, if not more important such as confidence.
After this "introductory phase" other qualities get noticed like humour, intelligence, character...etc
The introductory phase however is always 'shallow' as it is determined by the factors that can be spotted very easily, in both men and woman. Physical appearance, clothing, confident movement...
Only after this phase a lot of woman will be "pickier" than men, as for them the choice of sexual partners will be more important as they have the biological disadvantage. They need the men to have a lot more good qualities to provide for them during pregnancy and raising a child.
