Personally i have been doing palms down jelqing. It feels as though i get a better stretch while jelqing from it but I don't know if there is any sure benefit from doing one over the other. Can anyone give any more insight?

im not sure about any benefit from one or the other.i myself do both methods though.i will switch in the middle of jelqing and then switch back.i kinda like the variety in the workout

I do both, always mix and match many diff'' styles and the pressure I use also, HOWEVER I find that palms up seems to get ALOT more blood for me in their than palms down, but I aint saying this is more effective ... they are all very effective.

I agree with RED!

I have tried palms down but it just feels awkward for me so i alwaysdo palms up, also go along with Red about palms up = more blood for me.

I like both, I get more head engorment doing palms down which is my main thing I try to get

yeah, same for me.i got more pressure in head from it.but i think mixing it up is great idea

Palms down...definitely a stronger jelq. I go very slow with jelqing, not so many, but lots of pressure. I can really get some pressure and it swells the unit..big time.

I do palms up when doing wet jelqs with vaseline but palms down when doing dry jelqs.

Palms down. I get more pressure in the sides that way AND, I get my grip all the way down beyond the base against the pubic bone. Palms up is too awkward for me and theres always a couple inches of shaft at the base that doesnt get jelqed.

I've noticed that when doing palms-up jelqs, I can get a closer grip to my body at the base.
