Should I buy both l-glutamine and l-arginine or amino acid tabs? My protein shakes have 20 amino acids in them just like the amino tabs but the dosage is low!
I can,t afford to buy every amino acid seperate so if I have higher doses of one amino acid will it counteract the benefits of another?

You can get glutamine and arginine capsules pretty cheap online. They are both good for BB. You also may want to look into taurine as an amino acid to add. It too is quite good for muscle (and cheap).

Actually most high quality protein powders contain pretty much all the essential amino acids in sufficiently high dosages, so if you down a couple of shakes every day, you should get all the aminos you need (excepting glutamine, which I'm doubtful has any concrete benefits).

If your current protein powder doesn't contain enough of each aa, try a higher quality brand.

Protien powder is produced in bulk by only a handful of companys and they are all basicaly the same, they then sell to the different supp companys who add flavouring and supposed extras stick a fancy label on and put ads in magazines claiming there protien is better than everyones elses, truth is apart from taste there really is not much difference in protien powders.
