I've seen it referenced and did a search but I haven't found an explanation. Can some explain please...

i think it is where the base sin of ur cock gets sucked in and puffed up and makes a ring..

happened to me last night too much lube on other bits and not shaft got sucked up.

it's basically something that occurs from pumping. Especially with the Bathmate. Nothing very dangerous imo, it happens. It's basically just a fluid buildup in your skin that is there temporary for a couple of hours.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've seen it referenced a few times but never knew what it was.

It can occur with ANY pump and no one brand or type is more at risk than another as Opa claims the Bathmate is especially prone, it isn't any more so than the rest.
The Donut effect is caused from doing too much pumping in one go, that's all it is ... over training essentially and is a collection of fluid that gathers around the penis like a ring and hence the name donut.

Thanks Red. I can see that. Usually when I have over-pumped my whole shaft gets blown up to a rediculous girth with mostly fluid buildup under the skin. As I mentioned in another thread I once over-pumped to the point where my girth increased an inch (from 4.75 to 5.75). Needless to say, I will never do that again.

Sounds to me you would greatly benefit from wearing a condom while you pump, as they reduce fluid and if you like wear two one over the other. You'll find less fluid and in time save and purchase a Bathmate, not pushing them on anyone because I'm a mod here and MOS has an affiliation with them from sales but because they are good. Check my routine thread out for my own progress.

Wow, that really works, huh? I never have a problem with fluid buildup but it sounds like it would work. Who came up with this?

Yeah it works Mike, tried it myself with the 'old-school' conventional dry pumps as I used to get some fluid with it and sure enough that was reduced. Don't know who came up with it, I borrowed it from a member that posted it here on MOS.

Do you still get good expansion?

When I used it yes. Dont use it any more but might do just to keep the pump solid and minimise any fluid.

strangely enough..i seldom experience the dreaded doughnut.i remedy this by stretching/massageing every 20 minutes.

sorry to dig up an old thread - but if you do get the 'donut' is it permanent?

No, not at all. If you just simply don't do anything about it, it will go away in about 8 hours for me.
If you do interventions, heating wrap, jelqing, massaging, then it will go away much quicker, like 4 hours or so. Depends on how much of one you have, and how much circulation you have.
Yeah, I freaked the first time I got it, but nothing to fear at all.
In fact, go ahead and give yourself a donut sometime. A great big huge one, then, you can see just how big it can get, and that it will go away in a matter of hours, and that all is right with the world.

With the 5×5×3 and SRT plus the sleeves there should be absolutely no water retention whatsoever and every bit of expansion will be tissue.
