I honestly like NO2 and Nitro-Tech, but I would like to hear what you guys think...If your answer isn't listed, just choose other and post it in a message...thanks!

I have to vote for whey protein. I think you could perhaps replace it with a protein source from food, but whey is the protein with the highest bioavailablity and digestion rate, so any other kind would be inferior in a situation such as after a workout, where your body is literally craving for protein and carbs that it can utilize immediately. Hence it would be my pick.

Yeah, I take a whey protein supplement with an occasional protein drink from GNC...those mothers have sometime 50g of protein and they actually taste good! Do you take a protein supplement? If so, how many g of protein are there in one serving?

Yeah, true, but if you don't want to stay natural and are looking for a little help along your way to muscle mass, I still believe NO2 is a great supplement, because it is pretty much the only one that does anything with your fast twitch muscle fibers. These are what make your muscles grow, and by accelerating them, you are in turn building your muscles more and more. That is why I work on explosiveness during my workouts, especially with benchpresses. Whey Protein is great though, and I have been supplementing with it for about 6 months now, and am loving the results. Plus, it isn't bad tasting like some other supplements. Myoplex makes a good protein supplement, and it doesn't have anywhere near as much cholesterol as GNC's 100% whey protein does...

I'm currently taking Optimum whey protein. It contains 23g of protein per serving. It's pretty inexpensive I like the results I've been getting from it.

23g per serving is pretty respectable. GNC's 100% Whey Protein has 20g but SOOOO much cholesterol, its pretty fucked up. I reccomend Myoplex but GNC is good because it also has some AA in it. Plus, it can be inexpensive, 'specially during Gold Card week, which is pretty much the only reason why I go to GNC. Bodybuilding.com is a great site for great products. Check it out, they have some pretty good prices too...

yea bodybuilding.com is where i order my almost all of my supplements. they usually have really good prices.

allthewhey protein is the cheapest and best tasting ever.

great service too.

kentnutrition or 1fast400 are good supplement places.

Natural or not, diet is of # 1 importance in making gains in the gym. By the way, don't ever buy from GNC.

haha true, i usually only buy the protein and only once during a month, if I buy then, because you get 20% off your purchases in the first 7 days of the month. bodybuilding.com is a great source, because they tell you all about the products you are buying as well as give you their own reccomendations, and even tell you what products work well with that choice. It's a great site, both the cyberstore and the regular site.

Philadelph is absolutely right, however. Diet is by far the most important thing when it comes to exercise, bodybuilding, and general nutrition. It remains paramount even after you have gotten it straight and have a solid meal and exercise plan. The last thing anybody wants is to put the pounds they just lost right back on. If you have been working out steadily for at least 6 months, however, then it is safe to begin to supplement. This is because you will want to get to know your body's strong points, and if you begin to supplement before you do, then you won't know what to really work on when you are exercising.

BTW, I LOVE your picture in your signature!!! ROFL

Same here, I think Optimum's product is the best i've had so far...cheapest, though I will look into this 50g gnc one you guys are ranting about..seems quite sweet as well. :)

Question is the 50g gnc stuff whey protein? I can't find anything on that...

It's a protein drink, in the little refrigerator's they have in the store. It is also on the shelves by the bars and all that. They have numerous flavors and no carbs as well as only 110 calories, which is pretty darn respectable, and add that to 40-50g of protein and a good taste, and you aren't going to find that very often...

im guessing its more expensive than the optimum 100% whey? Whats the difference if i take 2 servings of the whey protein compared to the 50g gnc stuff? beside the 4g of protein missing in the optimum of coarse..

Last time I went the 50g was $31 dollars and I think it was 6 dollar off day, I just went for the 20g stuff that was $20 bucks but I really want to move up to the 50g now, despite the price. I am having a hard time finding a great alternatives whey protein drink at www.bodybuilding.com, that matches the GNC one, if anyone does can they please post the link.

You people don't seem to be getting me: It's a protein drink!!! Like gatorade!!! One bottle is no more than $3.50!! I usually have the blue rasberry flavor, its pretty good tasting compared to other protein drinks. Also, if you ever want to invest in a MRP, (meal replacement) then GNC is one of the many makers of a good priced on as well. The Mega MRP has 40g of protein per serving, and it is VERY fulfilling when it comes to appetite. I prefer the MRP bars, because they're great if I'm on the run and don't have time to make a shake. Just some friendly advice...

check the prices out at www.allthewhey.com

i think they are the cheapest, and they taste good too.

No, I get you. I just wasn't replying to your post. :D

Oh....lol My bad bro, sorry bout that. I haven't visited allthewhey.com but I might have to, sooner or later. I just buy the drinks from GNC because I don't really like to wait for shit to ship and all that, when I can just get in the car and drive five miles and not pay for S&H, just tax...

My vote was for NO2 by MRI. You need to do waht Bryd's book says though. If you get it at GNC they will have abook for it telling you everything you need to know about NO2 and other things like nutrition and workout sessions.

You have to stack this with something else like creatine for instance to get it's real benefits. Protein is best in my opinion mainly because I break out from creatine, but really NO2 is about as good as it gets in terms of giving results. You just have to do what the book you get with it says.

Amen to that bro

I love S1+ by Dermabolics! It contains 1-Test and 4AD in a transdermal spray. Each bottle is about $30 and lasts about 2 weeks at the recommended dosage. I'm actually going to make my own homebrew transdermal soon, though. I'm gonna use the same 4.5g 4AD and 3g 1-Test per 4 oz, spray bottle, but I'm going to make the solution myself. Hopefully it will be more effective since I'm using DMSO instead of Oleic Acid!

Anyway, second best, not including a good workout regimen and diet, is creatine.

Fav protein shake: Dymatize Elite Whey

BTW: I'm on day 10 of S1+ out of 28 days and am up 7lbs from 205 to 212!!! NO BF gains whatsoever and I'm holding no water; maybe because I drink so damn much H20 throughout the day.

Important: For anyone not educated on hormones, 1-Test is a legal steroid and 4AD is a potent precursor to testosterone. They are both legal, but should not be taken lightly. All cycles must be followed by a good PCT (Post Cycle Therapy) of equal length to the cycle itself starting immediately after the cycle finishes! For my post Cycle I'm going to be using MetaCort by dermabolics which has 6OXO and 7OXO-DHEA in a transdermal spray. I'm adding 1 extra gram of Androstenetrione powder (6OXO) to the solution so it lasts me one month! It will total about $35.

*NO, I dont' work for Dermabolics! LOL. I wish I did, especially with the ban coming up. I'd love to get some discounts!

Thanks for posting. With my ROP, my test is goin along pretty well, plus I take NO2, so I'm gonna stay on that for a while. Here is a site for you since you seem like you like steroid alternatives: www.hcmuscle.com It's pretty expensive, but not illegal, at least i dont think so...
