I was thinking that since there are a lot of guys here that are trying to lose weight, why not have a challenge, or at least a place to report their progress and goals. This will be a good way to keep your motivation and actually write down your progress while giving support to those who are also trying to lose some weight.

I personally have put on a couple pounds as of late b/c of poor eating habits.

As of 4/27/04

Current Weight: 210 lbs
Goal Weight: 190 lbs
Loss so Far: 0 lbs
Amount to Lose: 20 lbs


Please post your stats and progress if you are trying to lose some weight, this will be a great motivator

I have been eating low fat and low sugar.I pretty much eat as much as i want.I do 30 minutes a day on the treadmill also.

I'd like to be 210 @ 10%BF, but thats years away.
I've been lifting like a crazy demon latley, but haven't lost wieght,
only bodyfat.
I hate dieting ;)
I lift 3 days a week.
I jog between 2 to 4 miles 3 times a week.
Once in a bit ,I hit the treadmill after getting back from the gym
if I still feel like I have some energy left.

I would be up to this especially since I've gained more weight than I'd care to have. That's what happens when you work full time straight outta high school and have a child and get married to a great woman who can cook some mad food. mt stats are as follows:

height: 6'2"
current weight: 245lbs
desired weight:189lbs or close to it
build: large-medium frame

at 189 lbs I was at the best shape of my life with like 11% body fat. would run at least 2-4 miles a day. at the time I was also weight lifting at least 45 mins a day.

I'm open to ideas on what anyone would suggest for a guy with not much time on his hands. I'm totally open for suggestions.

i used to weigh 260 and got to where i am now by eating mostly just veggies fruit chicken and fish. for exercise i woke up at 530 and jogged 2-3 miles before high school then later in the day id do a 30-45 minute intense double circuit training session at the gym. i lost 40 pounds in under 4 months doing that. The difference in the pic is like 45-50 pounds

Wow nice losses m8, if we fatties need inspiration you have sure helped.

Me as off today weigh in at 196lbs goal 170lbs where i used to be 6 years ago, joined a gym today, not going to diet just change to more fruit and veg and cut out the inbetween snacks oh and drink plenty of water .

I've been gaining.Probably because i have been eating like a pig.I gotta get refocused
