I've just read on wikipedia that Vitamin C increases collagen production by upto a factor of 8!

I will go to the Drug-store tomorrow and buy a pack of raw ascorbic acid and take some before and after my routine. Besides the other health benefits I really think taking megadoses of vitamin C regularly could be the missing link for permanent gains.
I am wondering: Has anybody observed any direct relationship between vitamin C uptake and gains?

What also would be interesting is if there were a way of directly supplying Vitamin C to the tunica tissue. (Besides injecting it)
I thought about adding some to the Bathmate water and hoping it gets absorbed, but I am sceptical that would work, maybe but maybe some gets through the glans. :)

Good post! Supplementing collagen production seems beneficial for length gains, especially for extender work.

I'm currently using a multi-amino acid supplement containing glycine, proline, lysine, arginine, etc. I've recently found a love for fruit, and I've noticed an even greater difference in elasticity+ flaccid hang,
seemingly out of no where. So in theory, the combo should prove very effective! Thanks for the insight!

Very interesting!

I've been taking loads of vitamin c, not for pe related purposes but just for overall well-being and fitness. Multi-vit plus 1000 mg dissolvable tablet plus a big glass of fresh squeezed orange juice (4-5 oranges). I've heard getting it from natural sources like this is best. I'll definitely keep it up!

It is my understanding that you would want to inhibit collagen for gains. That is one of the main concepts behind taking pge1, it has a collagen de-linking effect that allows for stretch and growth. In effect, it loosens collagen to allow for expansion beyond normal capabilities. Collagen is considered an elastic tissue, but that term is relative. It is elastic compared to bone, for example, but it is still very tough tissue and still an obstacle that must be overcome to achieve growth.

I'm kind of from the same boat as above.
However, damn near everything we take has some effect on collagen all the way down to the proteins and aminos/nutrients/minerals within our food.

Would love to see a case study of two brothers(same genetics/bloodwork), one malnourished and the other with a good diet with added supps/aminos and see who gets the upper-hand in Penis Enlargement.

Really agree with the PGE1 de-linking notion. Would 'almost' seem like a sticky situation to be someone Penis Enlargementing and also taking skin supplements, just depends on how one looks @ things from the above perspective.
Then we have the issue of "time under tension", which works to weaken the tissue further, but @ the same time making collagen stronger?

Kind of like getting cut/slightly burned, your body rebuilds the tissues/collagen efficiently(some may not). Getting stabbed/badly burned however, can create a keloid, which is overproduction.
Almost how a base cancer cell divides to the point where it forms into a mass.

Not to insinuate that over-training creates overproduction of these tissues, maybe someone can elaborate on that(would love to hear other opinions).

There's a good thread on other forum titled, "Penis Enlargement is just like Body Building" created May 2013. Which contains some good theories.

Vitamin C is so important! It is like taking the SUN in a pill:)

From what I understand, we want the penis to STAY weak and fatigued, that's how you deform it. So it would be detrimental to supplement with this

Half and Half really. We do want fatigue at the right times, during stretching but we do not want poor eq with sex, girth or masturbation so a balance is important to find that accomplishes all of this. It can be completely negated by doing DLD Blasters which simulate the fatigue.

Well it depends upon your specific goals. Yes, for the most part we don't want to nourish our collagen, I understand this. Yet, I have seen some results in doing just the opposite.

I have a really high pain tolerance, with strong hands and MLB forearms, so I really over-work my dick by accident, alot. For me, this has been helping a bunch.

I've been having great streaks of positive PI's, before it was not so consistent. My Bathmate sessions are more efficient, and I'm turtling less and less. It may sound sili, but my dick is extremely fatigued all the time,
and supplementing collagen seems to be helping aid healthy growth. This may just be my circumstance.

Most people should have no use for this, but I do see some theoretical uses.

Tablet?

1 cup of strawberries provides your daily vitamin C, any excess is simply pissed out.

Eat an Orange/Lemon and forget tablets, especially if there giving you 1000mg per day, what your buying is simply expensive urine.

Yeah, I would stick with natural sources from raw fruit. Watermelon (L-citrulline!) is great for Penis Enlargement!
