Have people found foreskin restoration to help with flaccid gains or at least flaccid hang?

Yes it def does for me

I never had skin covering the tip until Penis Enlargement. Now that I've been doing LAS I have skin over the glans. It's different haha.

New skin cell growth is really only part of making a new foreskin. I addressed this topic several weeks ago at another restoration site, so I will repost the information here:

I have noticed several questions regarding skin, so I'll try to address the most common ones. BTW, I am a graduate student in Physiology, so I'm not (entirely) talking out of my ass here .

Stretching: the resistance to tugging is caused predominantly by the dermal layer of the skin, which contains stretchy protein fibers called elastin and non-stretchy protein fibers called collagen (simple model). The elastin causes the skin to recoil after stretching, while the collagen matrix keeps the skin from being stretched beyond a certain point. Rawhide chewies are an example of dermis that has been dried out , while leather is dermis that has been through a tanning process to soften it. These examples give you an idea of what this layer of tissue is like… very tough.

As we are tugging, the strain is placed predominantly on the collagen fibers in the dermis. The overlaying epidermis (skin cells) transmits this strain to the dermis, but has a much lesser role in resisting lateral stretch (that which we seek) than the collagen fibers. While there are cells called fibroblasts that live in the dermis, the bulk of this tissue is not alive, which makes the remodeling process of this tissue an enzyme-driven, protein-building issue versus (strictly) skin cell mitosis (cell division). Thus, what we are stretching is something akin to tendons, while the overlying skin cells undergo mitosis as needed.

This is important for several reasons: 1) collagen remodeling occurs predominantly after the strain is released or reduced, as a response to the strain; 2) Excessive/prolonged strain will cause the matrix to thicken as well as lengthen (as is seen in tendons of more active people), which will then increasingly resist further elongation. Elastin will also increase, causing the skin to recoil more readily; 3) Matrix remodeling is a relatively slow process due the non-cellular nature of the tissue; it is not alive, like a cell is, and so cannot itself respond to the strain, but relies on fibroblasts for collagen fibers and enzymes for actual remodeling and elongation.

The take home message here is that creating a fauxskin takes time and gentle encouragement.

Cheers, gents!

I had to laugh out loud when I read this great post. I, too, have a background in A&P and I've been hammering away with this same information on several restoration forums over the last several years. Sadly, there's not only a dearth of informed posters out there, there are some downright, well, let's say "undereducated" folks who promote all kinds of information totally ignorant of the basic physiology and physics of the area, let alone the complexity of mitosis (not to mention missing the point of the challenge of an INCREASED rate of mitosis), and who will jump in quickly to argue against what research has known for many decades. I suspect they do this because they have only their own attempts at guessing about things, rather than the tools that an education teaches, so they think that what I post is somehow MY opinion, rather than information derived from rigorous scientific method.

Magic: magical thinking and wholesale BS is their domain and they will fight to the death over some "natural" explanation or product, rather than just pick up a text on the human integumentary system, and study, just for a bit, the anatomy of the area they're trying to affect.

dam, i was thinking of getting circumsized now that i see everyone wants to keep their foreskin i'll just keep mine. haha

hi everyone. its my first post here. thanks for the info you posted. that is exactly the kind of information about duration that I was looking for before my DTR arrives (http://www.foreskinrestore.com/main.html)

I knew I shouldnt do it 24/7 but was unsure about the length of time to do the stretching.

I'm not into penis enlargement as I don't know if anything but surgery can really give you more, so I'm not sure if I'll be posting in any other areas of this forum, but its great to have other guys that I can chat with about this.

my boyfriend thinks I'm nuts. When I told him what I planned to do, I believe his response was "Why would you want to do that to yourself??"

Hey guys, idk if I'm in the right place or not but.. My problem is that I masturbated wayy to much as a kid, and as a result of that I have extremely thin skin around the head of my penis. This causes me to prematurely ejaculate pretty much every time without the use of narcotics or desensitizers. And I've been trying to figure out the best method for growing thicker more rugged skin over the top of my penis.. Not particularly looking to go back to uncircumcised, but looking to grow some fresh layers of skin over the top. Any advice?

Great posts by Kong and Priap, very helpful and informative.

I'll be adding FR to my PE routine. Thinking about combining an FR method with ADS after PE workouts. Then after 10-12 hours of use I will transfer to an ANS like a Lock Hanging Weight Wrap or just some sleeves.

Yup, I miss those guys but if history repeats itself they will be back.

So what is the recommendation for a device to be on and then off? 1 & 1, 2&2, 2&1?

Whatever you feel is best for your penis. If you're not feeling well the next day or its way too fatigued then take a rest day. I recommend starting off 1 on 1 off. But you can do it every day if you'd like.

I miss Kong, he was a very knowledgeable guy.

Keep on bumping and Kong will return! Look how many we have brought back over the past three months. I believe our problem was more than just a registration problem, many guys were not able to login with their original passwords so they started new accounts. I don’t want people to do that because it takes many posts away from them. It makes more sense just to ask me for a new password with your original account
