Very good points on the merrits of occasional extended breaks from PE and gains.....

This is in reply to a question asked of BIB over on other forum'place. Many of you are aware of the "quick gains" I had a few months back.....3/4" in length over about two months. This would support the reply below, I had taken over a YEAR off from hanging weights or any serious Penis Enlargement.

>One more Q....(I'm assuming the gains from hanging are permanent)...would taking a strategic break once your ligs have become very strong allow them to weaken, thus expediting more gains? (presumably until they strengthen again, requiring another break)??<

That is a theory that seems to hold true. Many guys have reported increased speed of gains after an extended break. I would say, just from anecdotal evidence, that it requires at least a month or two, although some have held off for six months or more.

Just as with weight training or any other body building pursuit, all the tissues become stronger under stress, adapting to the stresses. The penis is not different, particularly the collagenous tissues that we deal with. And just as with any other body building pursuit, the tissues become weaker from a lack of use or stresses. Think of it this way: What happens to the tissues of an arm or leg that is required to be in a cast for six weeks? Not only do the muscles atrophy, but the tendons and ligaments all become weaker also.

Somewhere within this section are some good links explaining the adaptions of ligaments under stress. But I have no idea where.

Still, did the gains stop or slow down? If so did your LOT ever change?

Just curious...

I've stopped hanging for now RB...gone back to a stretching routine...going to be helping "field test" some things. No, my gains have not stopped. No erect gains the last month but, a 1/4" flaccid stretched gain. Same LOT.

I saw a study saying it took 6 or 7 weeks for the collegenous material in the knee to "adjust" to being stretched. Although this was pertaining to arthritis, maybe this will also hold true for Penis Enlargement?

Also, this was a study where they used heat to stretch the knee so may it doesnt........After all, ligs arent exactly like the tunica.

Lies you're just trying to make everyone quit so you can grow bigger than them. :p

Sonofabitch! Someone is always foiling my plans!!

:blaster:

Wouldn't taking an extended break from Penis Enlargement result in a loss of gains?

NO, not if they were real gains. I've taken up to a year off and not lost ANYTHING.

In my opinion, (and I'm far from an expert, still pretty new to Penis Enlargement) the only positive points of a time off would be:
1.) organizing priorities: we love Penis Enlargement, but taking time off will tell if you're using Penis Enlargement to fill a time void, or if it's something you enjoy.
2.) determining 'real gains': apparently some go away? Think of it as a 2 steps forward, 1 step back type deal.

Yeah, I thought I'd be able to think of more. Oh well, I guess it's a good thing I can't think of more reasons to take long periods of time off from Penis Enlargement :)

I agree Still.... I have never taken that much time off but usually with the breaks I have taken I still make gains with NO Penis Enlargement.

The gains that "go away" are normally just swelling but people class them as gains and then when the swelling goes you think you have lost those gains when really you haven't because you never really had them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think youre correct mostly. Then again, we're all different...and, maybe some guys really do shrink back to their pre pe size when they take any time off and this stuff only really works for the "lucky few"?

Hydromaxmm, I would be too paranoid to stop for even a day:confused:

I dont think that working 7 on and 0 off will gurantee a monster.
In my experience of all this, I have found that if I do say at least 1 month of consistant working out, like 1 on 1 off than I have like 1 week of after that 1 month, than I notice a shoot in gains.

I ALWAYS take a 1 month break after 6 months working out, I gain abit in that time also.
The penis GROWS when you rest.
For some like DLD, they dont need as much...it heals/grows in their sleep, but peeps like me need their rest for the old man to grow good.

No definate answer on this either.
All the info' I have seen doesnt give me a certain answer for this topic at all.

Basicclly it depends alot on your Genes/Health/Circulation IMHO how quickly/well you gain.
Of course we must be consistant, but all those factors IMHO will play the biggest role in wether we/you/I gain good or bad.
