Vermont braces for Wal-Mart onslaught
USA Today |
"Because of plans for several new Wal-Mart Supercenters across the state, the National Trust for Historic Preservation has placed the entire state of Vermont on its 2004 list of the most endangered historic places in the United States. Vermont is the only state ever to make the annual list in its entirety... 'We're not telling any communities that they shouldn't have a Wal-Mart,' said [trust president Richard Moe]." [No sir, that's precisely what you're telling them. Let's be honest.]

Don't even get me started on walmart. American capitalism (or should I say feudalism in this instance) at its worst. After working there and finding out Wal-marts connections with communist china, I don't know how I can listen to anyone praise wal-mart for supplying jobs to America. They have done the most amount of damage to the American economy, even more so than George W. Bush (even though Cheney has been speaking to numerous wal-mart stores). Underselling their suppliers and creating unemployment due to getting products from communist china and in turn, creating widespread unemployed from corporate giants General Electric. Talk about a company built on manipulation and deception.... why that also sounds like some other people I know: THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. Stop the FTAA, the freer the market the greedier the people. George W. Bush's largest donation in the 00' election was from the Walton brothers. Why do you think this is? Because they know that Bush will deregulate businesses including Wal-mart, which will allow Wal-mart to cut any benefits that could exist in their company, and even pay. Cheney bashing unions at a wal-mart store meeting makes me even more sick. I know I wouldn't want to work at a company that guarantees me benefits and security both fiscally and from corporate greed mongols like the Walton's. But it's unamerican to say these things, or so Cheney would want you to believe. Welcome to America's fall, Rome also fell in the same way, but that's a different story. Now I'm all worked up.

And like Nero we Penis Enlargement enthusiast keep fiddling away in the aisles, searching out new and improved ways of cheaply stretching our cocks. The shame.
On the upside the maple syrup swilling peoples of the Peoples Republic of Vermont can now bask in the florescent lit glory of buying cheap Velcro and CableClamps by the dozens! :)
