I bought a JES extender clone a few months ago and I only used it a few times for about a week because I couldn't seem to get used to how it place it, or I simply had read incorrect information.

Here is what I am doing:
I am wrapping with ace bandage. I am using about an 8 inch length and wrapping a few times around snugly but not tight. Then I bottom out the extender, and put my wrapped penis through the silicone tube and place the strap just behind the glans. Once I tighten down it seats itself up against the glans and then I set the tension to the first notch.

I am getting circulation issues (purple and cold glans) so I am having to take the thing off every 20 minutes or so. How are you guys getting to wear this for 3 hours straight no issue?

Thanks,
T

Overall I think extenders take time getting used to. If your not accustom to the tension for long periods of time then you might feel discomfort. Try using the TLC mod or the velcro strap and experiment with wrapping methods that's best for you.

Too much wrapping is actually worse than not enough. Experiment with less.

Is that a noose-style or strap-style device?

To begin any successful Penis Enlargement campaign you must allow the softer tissues adaptation time. Your first 2 weeks should focus on application technique and short wear times. Blood vessels will adjust to the restricted flow and skin will toughen. If you go too long too soon you will simply hurt yourself and have to stop to heal.

Do not worry about the cold and purple glans you will be fine but don't wear if for more than 1.5 hours at a time. When u take it off play with ur dick for 15 minutes to get good circulation going, then strap it back in.

It is the noose style, but it comes with a strap. I tried wrapping with less and the same result happened.

Why am I not supposed to worry about a cold purple glans? I read that cell necrosis starts within 20 minutes of circulation loss.

Searching TLC mod came up with this current thread. Are you referring to a TLC tugger without a vent-hole? If so I do not really want to buy another penis device just yet. I already have a jes extender and a DTR.

Cold is ok, blue or purple are not ok. Cold comes from stopping the interstitial fluid flow, blue/purple come form oxygen starved blood. Sounds to me like you're using way more tension then you are ready for at this point. In other words, you're having to tighten the strap too much in order to hold on with the tension you're using. Reducing the tension allows you to loosen the strap a little. Pretty much any tension is enough in the beginning.

Back off on the tension for these reasons: 1) Vessels and nerves need time to adapt, 2) Skin needs to toughen at the attachment point.

After about 2-3 weeks you can start increasing tension. It's a myth that more is better in the case of an extender. Time is your friend.

If you don't give the softer tissues time to adapt you're going to either give up in frustration, hurt your penis, or break open skin at the attachment point. None of those achieve the goal!

My glans stays red and pretty warm, just a little colder. My foreskin though, gets darker and pretty cold, is that a problem? However, I think I'm gonna lighten the tension and go light for 2 weeks as you suggested.

What type of device are you using?

What's the definition of darker? Is it black or looking like it's turning toward black?

Usually, darker and cold don't go together. Darker indicates: 1) blood is pooling which means it's entering the area, or 2) blood is being forced out of the capillaries and into the skin's subcutaneous fluid.

I'm going to guess it's the second item since you're saying it's also cold. This then means your strap is too tight. As I stated for the other fellow, the more tension you use the tighter you have to make the strap. If you're significantly changing the color then you've got the strap too tight which I'm assuming is due to too much tension. In other words: higher tension requires a tighter strap.

You'd be surprised how much can be done with less tension if you can put in the time. Remember that it will take months to achieve your goals. Don't try to hurry it. If you do, you will probably hurt something or quit due to pain or frustration.

Well I am doing the first level of tension (the first notch.) Should I be doing less than that?

In the very beginning you need to let the tissues adapt. Don't put them under any tension. Just put on the device and keep your penis extended at or below your erection length.

After a couple of weeks the skin under the strap will callous and the skin at the base will toughen too. Blood vessels and nerves will start adapting. You will have mastered applying, removing and wearing. At this point you start introducing tension. Almost every guy skips this vital part. As a result, most guys never gain with this because of pain and discomfort.

Im new to PE & ive been using a Jes Extender with a noose for about 3weeks, just getting hang of it. I could only manage about 1hr a day to start & I can now do 5hrs split into 1hr or 1hr 1/2 sessions with 1/2 break between. Definetly need to start slow & build up. Talc around the glans helps me get more comfy & seams to help against slippage.
Also as mentioned, getting the right amount of blood in the glans + noose grip without cutting off blood supply is just something you get right through practice.
My glans go a little cold & darker but it helps if I gently massage the end every no & then & the colour returns.

Loads of great info on this forum so hit the search button, take it easy & be patient, im just starting to see measurable gains so stick with it.

Thats it, slow and steady to get to the point of good intensity. The SizeGenetics works for every man that masters it and it is worth the trouble because making gains without having to do much work is very cool.

how does the penis callous? i am at the beginner stage. just started. my erection is seven inches from the pubic gone to the end (measured in a straight line). I started to have a strange sensation when i pee (i stretched to 7.5 inches maximum). i stopped stretching to 7.5inches and i am now down to 7". i have taken you advice; i am waiting for the penis to develop and callous. i am looking forward to my skin callousing and my penis adapting to the device so that it gets stronger.

what does a 'prepared' penis look like? i want to know what the calloused 'trained' penis looks like so i know when its ready to start to put the tension up.

I’m new to using the extender.
My scrotal skin gets very red and sore. Does anyone have an answer to this. Thanks in advance for any advice.
