I tore the latex on my Bib, has anyone else done this and found a good way of mending it? I'm kinda bummed since I've heard he isn't making them anymore.
I'm nearly sure he'll repair it for you if you contact him. He has repaired others in the past, and he seems the kind of guy to help a customer out even tho he may not be taking on new customers currently.
I'm sure Bib would be more than happy to help if you just shoot 'im off an e-mail. Even though he's stopped manufacturing them, I doubt he's the kinda guy who would pull the plug on the whole customer support deal.
For future reference though...and I KNOW this to be true from my own experience with the BIB hangers....tears in the gel cushion almost always occur because the hanger is not tight enough during hanging and the hanger moves too much and this causes the gel to tear.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened. I haven't been hanging for very long, less than three months, and I feel like I'm still figuring things out. The wrapping is the part that's eluding me the most. It is almost always hit or miss as to how comfortable the session is going to end-up being.
I'll try emailing Bigger, but it says right on the front page of his website, "The Bib Hangers are out of production. Bigger will not be offering any support or assistance for the hangers in the forum at other forum." So, I dunno. <
