I have been hanging for about 2 months now and wondered if it is better for length increases to hang with a for instance 10lbs for 2 hours (taking a break every 20 minutes) or 20lbs for half an hour.

I know in weight training if you want to get bigger and stronger you need to try and progressively increase your weight (while keeping good form) but as the penis is not a muscle so I guess the same does not necessarily apply.

With weight training I train 3 times a week but only train each muscle once per week because I want to give my muscles plenty of time to heal, recover and grow.

I hang every day because I think it is more like training for flexibility like when stretching hamstrings. Is this right?

With stretching /hanging it is important to stretch as often as possible with as much resistance as possible, using comon sense and without injurying yourself of course. If you have 2 hours total time a day to work with, I would do as I said, and find out what your max working weight is. IE: the level of weight that you can hang with, get a good stretch with every set, and still not be using too much weight. Ditto SWM. The less time you have to hang, the faster you want to hit fatigue. Conditioning yourself to accomodate more weight and using that high stress to encourage fatigue will expedite this. Once fatigued, you can lower your weight accordingly (small increments) and ride out the fatigue with the time you have left.
The paradox is that you can only hang so much weight without injuring yourself - so discovering and utilizing your maximum weight is essential.

Never start out a session feeling pain. Anything more than a slight discomfort is an indicator of looming injury. If you are hanging a weight that you can handle and pain in your ligs or tunica suddenly pops up - or even slowly appears - you have hit fatigue and should lower your weight slightly next set. Hang at this weight until you are unable to and must once again lower it. Keep doing this - hanging at lower and lower weight until you have arrived at half of your maximum weight and then lay off for the day.
Being able to ride this line is good hanging and is where serious gains are made.

Though some guys never "feel" fatigue the truth is that it is only in this state that gains are made. Hence the need to hit it as soon and as safely as possible.

I have yet to feel fatigue. I'm sure if I'm gonna hit it it will be with the 20lbs though.

If so, what do you attribute this lack of feeling the fatigue sensation to? Is it a high pain threshold?

(sorry if your progress has been reported elsewhere. I know I should "do a search" but I'm lazy and inconsiderate. I'm supposed to be a f*cking pirate over here - and the only thing we search for is "booty") :)

Nah no problem I feel the same way :D! I dont think its a high pain threshold but I could be wrong. Yep I have seen 1" in the past year . And girth base gains have come up but I havent measured it. I have in the past 4 days now been feeling a slight internal soreness. But it goes away within 15 min give or take. I do think that I have busted through and I'm FINALLY seeing some flaccid gains. For sure they are just in the past few days but I think they will continue! I've always been a grower not a shower . Hopefully that has come to an end.

Capt, whats your gains? and have you seen any flaccid gains or all erect gains?

From the very beginnig to the present I have gotten a length gain of 1 1/4" BP erect. I recently noticed a nice NBP improvement simply by eating better and loosing a 1/4" of my 1" fat pad. Easiest gain I ever made.
Flaccid gains have been excellent because of the combination of hanging and traction wrapping . But I have as hard a time as anyone clearly measuring flaccid size due to fluctuation.
All said, I have a much improved flaccid hang - both in real length and in girth "apperance". It appears really hog-thick when flaccid because of extra shaft skin owing to so much hanging .

Do you traction wrap CT?
