Sometimes people ask for somthing that many others have asked many times before, and there are very detailed answers to it somewere on this forum.
And when someone answers it for the 40 time he answers it maybe not nearly as detailed as he has writen about it before,
so what this site needs is a Search Engine because it is so much information on this forum and it can take so much time to find what you are looking for, it takes muck less time to post a thread.

Search engine would be very good for this forum. If it is not to much problem it would be amazing if it could happened it would be great for all the MOS members,
DLD and others have definitely thougt about this before but i am just putin a little input on this because i am always thinking of the search engine.

And if that's too easy:
Got to the bottom of the page and select "ARCHIVE"
Pick whatever forum you want
Depending on your browser; CTRL+F and search for any title that contains that word/phrase

You mean the function that is in the top-right corner of the page?

Use the following site:mattersofsize.com/forum or specific site:mattersofsize.com/forum clamping. This is done in a search engine like google or startpage.

I hear what he's saying, the site is kind of difficult to browse through, but if the google thing works then that's good.
Categories would be nice though, like at pegym. There is gold here, just have to dig.

You are right MikeShlort there are gold here and this Google search is ok i will start to use that from now on, Redzulu you are the Genius like allways thanks guys for your comments.

Agree with all and there is much more I think needs to happen. I am planning a trip to deal with these issues face to face with JAZ in Florida before May ends. We just dealt with a big problem that has been plaguing us over the past year, now it is time to do some upgrades.

and what about a Live chat ? is that something that u (DLD) have thought about ?

This is one I thought of today DLD:

You should allow users the ability to edit their post whenever they want, if it's in their own thread. The time limit right now is 10 minutes, and that can be annoying for Progress Threads, say you forget to add a detail (or you did a workout after you posted for the day), now you have to put a whole new post and clutter up the thread rather than just go back to the day's post and edit it, add in that extra thing you forgot.

Live chats have never worked in the past and we have tried them at least 10 times.

I agree but right now security is high as we have been suffering attacks. As soon as we get everything under control there will be many new features including editing options.

The search engine on MOS is working now. You should be able to find whatever you are looking for here.

The search function is much more advanced now, including predictive A.I. for posts that may have related articles before you post. Unfortunately, it will only display the possible related post if you use a PC/Laptop and not a mobile device, unless you put it into Desktop View.
