Been at it for 6 weeks now doing the newbie routine with minor adjustments to it. I decided to do a quick measurement because I'm seeing more bunching up at the base and I can tell I'm thicker there than before (I do some stretches from the base).

Grabbed the ruler, EQ was excellent thanks to some , and....

WHAT THE HELL?! DID I GET SHORTER?!

Repositioned a little and remembered I had a very gentle press for the regular erect length. No gain.

BPEL, however, appears that I've gained 1/4" in 6 weeks.

I haven't gained/lost any weight so no change in the fat pad. I'm really confused as to what is going on.

This was just a quickie measurement and I'm 6 weeks away from an official measurement but this is weird. Can anyone explain it to me?

Becoming shorter is completely impossible. You may have lost temporary gains but losing size that is cemented is not possible. I would be sure you are measuring from the same place and anchored firmly against the pubic bone. If you are still getting wild measurements it is an EQ issue. It is easy to check this by measuring bone-pressed flaccid, stretched, there is no way for this measurement to change unless you have gained.

mmm loosing gains well going for that extra half an inch is so necessary..i want to get to a 12x7 i have to go for a 12.5x7.5:cool:;)LMAO

EQ was pretty good as I did it while edging. I'm thinking I measured differently.

Is it possible to gain bpel but not erect length? I haven't gained or lost any weight since I started.

That is not only possible it is protocol! BPFS will always show gains before BPEL. BPFS is a map to future gains and is always consistent. It does not depend on eq or weight loss or gain, it is always uniform.

BPFS = Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretch right?

I haven't done any flaccid stretch measurements so I'm guessing I should try to find a way to do it. When I started all I was thinking was "the only important thing to know is how big I measure hard! That's all that matters!" I'm finding out that's not the case :O

No biggie, I'll just be absent some data from the day I started until I get the other measurements. I'm only 6 weeks in so it's not too bad. If I was 6 months in and asking why I hadn't made any gains and had bad data to start with that'd be a different story.

I'm guilty of not logging BPFS as well but I do measure it semi-often (probably too much lol) as it is far more consistent than BPEL for me. My EQ tends to wane whenever I pull out something to measure with, regardless of my arousal before hand. I noticed that when there is a jump in BPFS a gain of similar size in BPEL is noted around the next time I officially measure and log.

I know it's not best practice to measure so frequently (I do official erect measurements at the same time each month, once per month) but my love for data makes me want to lol. I look forward to being able to plot a graph showing my progress regardless of the amount.

There are 2 measurements that should be constantly made and the remaining measurements should not happen until 90 days in. I would check girth after every session to be sure you are seeing good expansion. This is not official this is only to be sure the session is profitable. Next, I would measure Bone-Pressed, Flaccid-Stretched every week. This is where length gains show up first and gives you direction to if your routine is gainful. Every other measurement should be done every 90 days.

Data collection is so important. Even though my degree is a bachelor of arts the psychology program I was in was actually very science based. 3 of the required classes were all about analyzing and interpreting data. Other classes still involved knowing how to properly interpret data and a few were so dependant on it you couldn't take them until the 3 I mentioned above as you needed that knowledge.

At work I have to do some simple chemical testing daily. Every time we have a concern I start logging the data on my own. I've found multiple issues with sensors and programming in our systems that were only found and rectified because of my data collection.

I know what you're saying about losing EQ when you go to measure. As I'm getting older I've noticed that if I'm distracted enough I will lose EQ. The TV was on to Dr Phil one morning while my wife and I were having sex and I was struggling to stay fully erect. After the 3rd time I noticed that during the commercials I was hard as a rock but as soon as his "holier than thou" voice came back I was struggling. I wasn't even paying attention to the TV but it was killing my mood!

Changed the channel (needed background noise cause of kids in the house) and was able to give her what she woke me up for ;)

I did a BPFSL this morning and couldn't believe what I saw. I got almost a full INCH longer than my BPEL that was taken 7 weeks ago. I was blown away!

I didn't record the measurement. I did a 25 minute edging session this morning (which ended when I went just a little bit too far lol. I was planning on reaching orgasm anyway). Then when I was in the middle of my stretching routine I decided to grab the ruler to take a peek.

I'm going to get an "official" BPFSL in the next few days but the only things I'll do prior are heat for 5 minutes and a quick massage to loosen up a little. Still, if what I saw this morning is an inductor of what I'm capable of I'm totally stoked!

Awesome news!

I never thought it was important until DLD said it above and then I read a little more in the forums here.

What will be really awesome is when I've added an inch to my erect length, not bone pressed either.

And then another inch.

And I keep them both :D

Just keep at it man. I think we will definitely see you add some inches over the next few years. Good luck!

That inch didn't show up in the Bathmate... yet. However seeing myself in the Bathmate with the size guide on it I'm getting a much better idea of just how big my goal will make me. I want 7" plain old erect length, maybe 7.5".

Work work work (but at least it's work I enjoy!).

Look forward to seeing you make some great gains man. How are you enjoying the Bathmate so far?

It's interesting. I put it on twice and noticed girth was much better. The third time I used it I did 1 round of the newbie routine first and I didn't want to take it off lol. I was getting nice growth in the tube. Pretty awesome. I can see this helping a lot.

wise words

very true. I love what I do and I ever feel as though I laboring, it always is a joy.

Okay so here's what's up with my penis....

I took measurements on Feb 7. Between then and March 28, so 7 weeks, I've added 0.25" in BPEL and almost that much in regular erect length. That was doing the Newbie Routine. The past 4 weeks I've been holding stretches for 45s instead of 30s.

Girth is a different story. I measured at my circumcision scar and the base. At the scar I have no change. At the base I have an extra 0.5" of girth. I'll do a round of stretches from the base and because of that I'm getting a "tree trunk" effect. I'm not worried about it and will keep doing a round of stretches from there. I try to do all 3 from just past the head but it gets uncomfortable.

BPFSL is 0.75" longer than BPEL. I find it amazing that BPFSL is so much more but I understand why.

I had to do measurements prior to 90 days because I'm starting out now with the Bathmate. If I had waited 90 days I wouldn't know if growth was from stretching, Bathmate, or both.

It has me curious where I would've ended up at 90 days without the Bathmate. I'll do BPEL and EL again in 2 months and see what I get.

The most important thing is that IT WORKS! PE DOES WORK! OMFG PE ACTUALLY WORKS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT BUT PE EFFECTIVELY WORKS!
