My dick at the base is really skinny, it's about 4.8 inch in girth, whilst the mid dick (just below head) is 5.5 inches.
My tricky weird shaped baseball bat dick is already 7 inches long but I'm wanting a couple of inches longer.

I've seen extenders on this forum is rated as the greatest (maybe even safest) of tools for length gain but I am afraid I will have to do extra work on girth for the base and it will take a long time to achieve results on the base. The bathmate also only seems to only work on the fatter parts of my dick..

I've never had sex and felt the base being used but then again it most likely is because I haven't been with many girls (only 5 but super sloppy wet). My dick has friendswithbenefits companion atm and I'd like to be able to gain a couple of inches.

Welcome to the Brotherhood Year! There is great equipment here and you can read all about the various tools in the SRT thread. You will be happy to hear that base girth is the EASIEST to gain in penis enlargement. Using the LengthMaster, Hanging or very strong downward stretches will build a thicker base in weeks.
 
Yes, hanging is a good option regardless of where you are in size, or experience. I'd suggest getting the LM as DLD said above and also the hanger, which I make/sell. That way, you can tackle manual stretching, and have all of your hanging options covered. Some days, you'll only want to stretch, but want to also maximize your time invested. Those days, you'll use your LM. Other days, you'll want to hang and stretch. Those days, you'd use your hanger and LM. Hanging over time will bulk up that base girth no problem. It's notorious for doing so. :)
