Stop lurking, start posting!

LMAO Just signed up but by no means a newbie. Is 52 young enough for this thread?

It's easier to lurk, but it's great to have your say once in awhile and to have some dialogue.

Maybe you guys would like to post an introduction in the Gentlemen's Club thread or start a thread of your own.

I agree -- you older guys should start posting more. Last month I posted some pics for the first time after being on MOS for over a year. I participated some but never posted pics. I am glad that I did. It was really good for my ego and I've received good feedback and some PMs for advice. I could have posted it in this forum but didn't because they belong in the pics forum. I am trying really hard to slow down the aging process to stay healthy for a longer period of time. I was working out at the gym today and one of the trainers thought I was 42. I am 11 years older. Not bad! In case you missed the post here is a link.

Hey, LongTom,

Guess I'm the exception to the rule here!! If I can get my body weight down to 170, (I'm 185), I'll post a pic. I just have to work harder on my mid-section!!. My abs are already visible.

Goin'

Well Guys I guess I have to reply to this new post. I am a 69 1/2 year old fart that did what a lot of us have done in later years, especially when you have lost a loved one and just seem not to care anymore. One day when riding my cycle I noticed something blowing in the breeze and it was the skin on my upper arms. That was my wakeup call about 2 years ago. I started working out on weights here at home , since I live in the country away from any towns. I have made some pretty good progress so far, the floppy skin on my upper arms is gone. I am not trying to be a Mr. America or anything like that, just trying to get back in shape and feel good about the body I was given to use for this life. I am still not where I want to be yet but I am gaining. You can heal the body given time and the tools to work with, the heart is another matter.

If you stop lurking and start involve yourself on the forum, you will learn a lot of information fast, and you will gain faster. The involvement on the forum keeps your disciplined as well. Create a progress thread, is a way to stay on the right path, and get feedback from the brotherhood.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, more questions and more discussions are good. Post videos, post information, post your stats, post pictures...help other brothers to gain, together we are strong.

I'm here every day (a little to much sometimes), I need MOS without MOS I would not gain. I can say this, MOS have changed my life...on a deep fundamental level.

Excellent post! The best way to start growing is to start posting and asking questions

That's how I started. I would not have the progression or the knowledge, if I didn't asked questions.
