i have always been terrified of speaking in public. i always get real nervous, sweaty palms, flushed feeling, red faced....u know the drill. well anyway i gotta get up in front of my college history class and give a 10 minute presentation and hoped someone could give me a hint on how to stay cool.

There are pills that keeps down the heartrate, that are given againt scenfrightness.
By a doctor, it can be usefull. So that you be calm, and do your thing.
I havent tryed them, but it can be used as an option.
Otherwise, get a good manuscript, some fun can be good to see were you got the class.
Or something totally unexpected.

Think of it that you are a the ironhand of the world, and everything you say is to be changed in the world ;) Nah, just pretend its your friends you are talking to. A normal discussion at home, like trick your mind.

Concentrate on your text, make sure that you know your stuff before you get up there, then you'll have nothing to worry about.

And just remember, no one knows what is a mistake in your presentation and what is not unless you point it out to them. Don't point out to them that you're nervous or unsure. In my acting classes, we were told that you can always fool people by pretending to know exactly what you're doing. I guess that pretty much sums up acting!

Have confidence in yourself, present to the last person in the farthest row, and think how great it will be when it's over and no one is paying attention to you again! (And it may help to think that your dick is getting bigger all the time.)

Good luck.

Hydromaxm, i remember having to stand up there and speak for ten minutes.

fistof, always choose an interesting topic, something that would peak there interest. talk about it with your buddies, know your stuff, go up there and speak, look the class inthe eye and make them listen
