Soreness at base of penis

I've been doing the newbie routine for 2 weeks so far (without the bundled stretches) so I'm about to dramatically increase the number of jelqs per session. I always warm up with a warm or even hot cloth before I start the stretch/jelq session, and have been doing it every day. Sometimes I'll re-warm up between stretching and jelquing. After 10 days I started getting some soreness in the base of my penis. Is this abnormal? Should I just take a day off to rest it?
My #1 concern is to avoid injury, but if this is normal soreness I don't want to slow down!

That sounds normal, I recall getting soreness when I start PE again [currently I do none], especially anything like a jelq.

Often it was some loose skin near my base, nothing odd, but that used to become sore.

Perhaps, you can apply more lubrication then normal to that area. I found, when I used more, it helped, but that could be psychological?

You need to do some troubleshooting. Is your own carbon unit. Identify what kind of soreness. Is is superficial? skin related? is it internal? muscle type, bone type, ligament type? If you are over 18, you have lived enough to acquire parameters that can be written in your software and used for troubleshooting and repair. Dont just say that you have soreness. Do the job yourself. Only when you run out of options then specifically ask for tools.

Very normal and expected especially in the beginning. Eventually you will not feel the soreness and you’ll start to actually miss it.?But it does eventually stop it and you’ll have pain free stretching.??

Sounds like lig soreness. Totally normal in the beginning. As DLD said in time you’ll miss it. As you get more conditioned and lig stretch becomes lesser, you’ll start to get tunica soreness. Be careful and safe. Don’t push it. If your gaining with the minimal amount of work, stick with it til your not. It’s a marathon not a sprint. This takes time and dedication.

Exactly true. Soreness at the base of the penis is normal and expected and eventually it will not happen any longer. As Ark said you will miss it when it’s gone, but when it’s gone it does not mean you’re not making gains anymore just means you’ve become a custom to the stretches.

At the time you are no longer feeling ligament soreness (what I relate to as I read this post) is that the time to acquire a tool like the length master?

No, I wouldn't say so. You purchase such a device when you feel the need to. It takes hands only stretching to another level, so that can tickle the ears anytime.

Thanks! I’m trying to get a handle on the progression of things. I’ve noticed that my one hand begins to fatigue and slip as my stretching routine continues. I’ve tried using a rubber glove a few times, I’ll experiment with baby power and I’m ordering SiliRings and SiliSleeves tonight. I think wearing the cap should cut down on slippage and I’ve excited to try on my size genetics to continue the stretching and promote elongated healing post workout. (I’m trying too corporate some SRT principles into the newbie program while I obtain all the equipment to follow the SRT program as described).

Luckily I do not feel my girth is lacking, but would like to continue my growth in a proportional manner. Any suggestions in one handed techniques to increase girth (or am I going to have to rely on pumping and wearing blood restictng CR to cement)? I have a myo electric hand and will trouble shoot a slow squash Jelq but that prosthetic attachment is hard (so I’d probably want to have that e the hand held and the base in a crude “OK grip” and compress with my sound hand).

The hand is hand of a material similar to silicone and I’m afraid would case irritation.

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

Attached photos are of my myo- electric hand
(It has a gross motor (3- jaw chuck pinch with the 4th and 5th digits do not move they all fills with foam and just float behind digit 2 and 3 when I make it pinch). I can also rotate the wrist 360 degrees but often times in my day to day life I notice once I rotate the wrist into the proper placement the angle of the hand/ hook is no longer in a functional position.

Hello bud,

Any suggestions in one handed techniques to increase girth (or am I going to have to rely on pumping and wearing blood restictng CR to cement)?

You could use a method known as clamping, but, use a more softer way to it, by using a Siliring instead of a clamp.

I gained allot of girth with clamping, in fact, it was something I help to pioneer over 15 years ago.

It can be very intense, but, if you use a Siliring, made from silicone, it will be allot safer, you can do girth work with one hand that way, as the siliring is acting as a safe constriction at the base, and you can use a hand if you wanted, to do a hold underneath the glans for more intensity, or something else.

Please see Clamping / Constrictors Forum and the sticky threads as they have allot of pix showing the exercises you can do.

Hope that helps.

I believe the Lengthmaster is something that every brother should have here from the get go. There’s no better way to do manual stretching then with the Lengthmaster. Your hands could never ever put out the amount of intensity given.

The lack of soreness does not mean too much. Soreness happens in the beginning and it also happens we start a new exercise or use a new tool. But it’s not completely indicative of gains. I gained plenty after soreness is no longer there.

But I suggest you and every other person that’s manual stretching to get themselves a Lengthmaster It make your life so much easier and her gains so much faster.
