Here are some videos that may help you.
Sometimes the male connector is not all the way in, and you will experience that the gauge on your "gun" (link to picture) will go up with no added vacuum pressure into the penis pump cylinder. The reason for this is because the valve in the, MityVac - Penis Pump Vacuum Cylinders are a stop valve.

Which means that the female valve will hold vaccum pressure when you remove the male connector.
So in order to add or release vaccum pressure, you need to make sure the male connector are fully engage into the female connector on the penis pump cylinder.

Here you will find the cylinders:

In most cases if you do not have a vacuum seal in your cylinder, you only need to tighten the valve a little bit.
Warning: Do not over-tighten it, and do not cross thread the valve, be gentle with it. The O-ring can also be damaged. That is the reason I remove the valve completely in the video above (to show everything).

You should only do this when you have a suspicion that something is wrong with the valve. When you are pumping you should not have any leakage in vacuum pressure. So far I have not have any of these valves break on me. These valves are better constructed then the ones in the Bathmate pumps.

The key to all this is to determine where the errors are located.
Errors may be: Loosing vacuum pressure, or not getting any vacuum pressure buildup when you attach your Penis Pump Vacuum Cylinder.
My hope is that these videos will help you determine where the problem are located.

Excellent post SIM!

Thanks. You can't always blame the equipment.
These are some tips I hope can help.
Learn to use the equipment there are plenty of videos. I think some brothers just start without research

Videos and instructions are important.
I didn't realize not everyone knew how to use the, MityVac Hydro-Vac Penis Pump.

But the female valve in the penis cylinder are a stop valve, so if you have that valve connected to the male connector in the beginning. All the water will run out of the penis cylinder before you get a chance to get in vaccum pressure. This is logical, and it's the same concept as with Bathmate pumps

You don't need the cylinder pointing up.
Attach the vaccum system after you have filled the cylinder with water, and after you have seald your penis inside the cylinder against your "fat pad".

I used a little bit of plumbers tape for my leak, which seemed to work.
