"Pressure is mounting against Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the minister of foreign affairs, over her support for Norman Mashabane, the diplomat to Indonesia she cleared of sexual harassment charges in April. The Commission on Gender Equality has threatened to subpoena the minister if she fails to respond to questions it suBathmateitted relating to her handling of the sexual harassment charges against the diplomat... Mashabane was found guilty of 21 counts of sexual harassment in December 2001 following complaints from seven women at the embassy... The women who brought sexual harassment charges against Mashabane claimed that he had fondled or kissed them and made suggestive sexual remarks."
