Sex offenders housed in nursing home
KSTP-TV 5 Minneapolis |
"The suit alleges Concordia Care Center of Minneapolis*allowed convicted sex offenders to have contact with vulnerable adults. It said the home accepted referrals of offenders from state prisons from 2002 to 2004. The prisoners were housed in a secure, third-floor facility along with other residents, including at least 10 women, Hatch said. 'I don't understand how inmates could be put into a facility with vulnerable adults,' Hatch said during a news conference Wednesday. 'Inmates who are not incapacitated or not geriatric, were sex offenders, who are alleged murderers.' ... Hatch is demanding that the sex offenders immediately be removed from the facility."
