With newer system software and the right plug ins you can make a forum like the Brotherhood more secure than Fort Knox, and that is what I want. You will notice that we are no longer “http” we are “https” the s stands for secure, meaning you are completely protected in every way, unless you wife gets a hold of your user/pass or you forget to log out😭😭😭🤫🤔😂 we are making significant changes so if you see any errors please post them here. Are any of you seeing a unlocked 🔒 in the toolbar? Log out and back in, is anything odd? Let me know. I want to perfect this with the most powerful security available. Anything out of the ordinary, like a 14” cock😂, I kid I kid. If you see anything post it in this thread. Thanks for the help!

Alright I will experiment and keep you informed.

Pretty much the standard these days, that https thing.

More than standard, necessary or the site gets blocked. This is a massive investment in the site, a total overhaul. The good of it is amazing but it will take time, be patient as I rock this.

if you dont want to hassle with normal certs and tossing cash at it yearly. check out LetsEncrypt, for a man with your brain and using a few tools that are free of charge, you can eliminate that charge and still have SSL.

Weird Weebly, my site hosting company, comes with it by default.

The forum is secured. The Green padlock is everywhere.

Any hosting company after January of 2017 will have the https address. Since we never saw this release we never made the changes. Today we are as secure as fort knox. Today we will be working on getting all images compliant. And the really good news is we will be updating the forum but more importantly the mobile application will have major updates. Brighter days ahead.

I'm happy for us.

It is a lot of work but we are getting it done.

One step at a time

Yup, a very tedious process. To get an idea of how big of a change this is imagine that we need to convert every url, every picture, every link, every ad, everything that is linked needs to be relinked in https. This is a huge job and with one slip things could go south really fast. So we are taking things one at a time to be sure nothing is lost and everything is secure.

Any idea how long this will take?

With the hurricane we had to move out of North Carolina and head north. I will update as things clear up.

Looks like things are not going to be as bad as they predicted so I am hoping this will speed everything up for you
