would it be better to do the stretches in the newbie routine while holding a reverse kegel?

in order to eliminate the possibility of the kegel muscle taking most of the stretch
 
Master the RK firstm it isnt easy to do, than start adding it into the routines you do.
It will give the most amazeing stretches eachtime.
 
The Reverse Kegel is the key part of the DLD Blasters for the exact reason you have posted. Learn the RK, master it as RED has said and make it an integral part of your stretch sessions.
