I don't know about "Riddick" Supra - but I caught "The Day After Tommorow" last night and have to recommend it. If you like special effects - I mean, incredibly convincing natural disaster effects - and don't mind a thin plot and flat one-dimensional character acting, you must see this one.
It reminded me of a classic 70's disaster flick - only much more thrilling because of the outrageous digital work.
Simply the most incredible stuff I've ever seen on screen.

funny cuz i actually just saw it. it had crazy special effects but plot was eh....vin diesel aint exactly the worlds best actor but hey neither was arnold. if ur into sci fi then go see it

i thought it was aight.... but then again im easily impressed with movies.... my friend who was with me is hard to impress and he didnt like it

I will probably have to pass on the Riddick movie. I wasn't all that impressed with "Pitch Black" or whatever the film was to introduce the Riddick character to the big screen. And this one just hasn't impressed me from the trailers.

I, too, saw "The Day After Tomorrow" and would say it was pretty good, allthings considered. The whole story is a bit extreme, but I can buy into that, but there are some parts of the story that are just absolutely cheesey as hell. But I go to movies to be entertained, and I thought it was entertaining.

I was gonna go see "Troy" but then I realized all the "Greek" characters...or MOST of them had British accents. Naw, I'll probably just wait to rent it.
