Ok, first id like to start on the muscle issue. Being a bodybuilder i know whe you tear a muscle down, and you let it heal, it heals stronger and grows. Penis Enlargement seems to work against this issue, thats why im wonderin why you need rest days.
Your penis is not made up of muscles that can grow and enlarge its size besides the PC muscle. Im not sure what we are trying to expand and cause growth in, except for the ligaments which i will get to next.
Ligaments hold true to the muscle growth theory, so i dont know why you would give them a rest. We are looking to stretch them, thus damaging them slightly. When you give them time to recover, they will heal stronger than last time, making it harder to stretch them next time. Your gains would probably slow the more, over time, you give them rest.

Just lookin to learn a little on the scientific side of Penis Enlargement here, i can see there are a lot of very knowledgable poeple on here to help me. Thanx guys.

I'm not sure what happens more often--you reminding us that you're a bodybuilder, or John Kerry reminding us he's a Vietnam vet. :)

But from what I know so far, everyone seems to think its the same as working out, need to give it rest time, etc, similar to bodybuilding, not working against the theory, as you said. I'm still new to it all, and who really knows for sure?!

I rested for 2 weeks after a very intense work out period (also 2 weeks) and I gained 0.25" BPenis EnlargementL.
Does that explain anything?

There is smooth muscle around the tunica but I'm not sure whether it can be made to grow by stretching (although tests on rabbit skeletal muscle has shown that long-term, low-intensity stretching can induce hyperytophy). You're also trying to expand, and thus stretch, the tunica, two capusle-like sheets of collagenous tissue not unlike the fascia of the skeletal muscles. If you're not familiar with these terms I suggest looking up any good anatomy book/site or searching this forum.

Actually, it seems that collagenous tissue restructures itself after having been stretched. Some sports physicians claim that resting is equally important for ligaments as it is for skeletal muscle. The theory is that the structural damage done to the ligaments by stertching, the reconfiguration of cells, will increase over time unless given time to restructure. There is even talk of helping this process along by using cold therapy, in effect "freezing" the cells in their new position.

I think when stretching the ligaments and tissues of the penis vs. other parts of the body...the more often they are stretched the better. Then again I'm just going on my personal experience from BTC hanging nearly every day ....BIB's experience with mostly BTC hanging pretty much every day....DLD's appoach which is every day stretching....etc...etc. Now when it comes to girth work the opposite seems true. More off days such as a one on one off or, a day off every couple or few days seems to work better. Not sure why. :hammerhea

No one knows the CORRECT answer.
I have ganied alot but never done 7 on 0 off, Hanging all day.
In my eyes the Ligs/Tunicae MUST be rested for them to grow.
For guys that hammer them 24/7 like SWM/BIB/DLD they probably grow in their sleep.
Thats maybe another part to this, we may ALL grow in our sleep and not need a rest day????????
Who the fuck knows, but all I know is that I am VERY close to 9 inches erect and I only do say 1 on 1 off or 1 on 2 off 1 on 1 on etc etc, basiclly a consistant but varying routine.

I would say soreness would be the primary cause for rest. Some activity everyday makes sense to me.

I know this wont make much sense to the logical minded types...but, the MORE I work it, the LESS soreness I get. Contrary to say, bodybuilding like so many guys like to compare Penis Enlargement to.

Are you talking hanging, or are you referring to manual work as well? The question goes back to when I read your pros and cons of each, where you acknowledge that one can exert greater force at peak moments during manual work. That would seem to me to lead to greater soreness, but I'm too new to swear by this.

FOr me, rest days quickly transform into holidays. I fear off days so much as they are capable of knocking you off balance. The longer the off day, the more difficult it is for you to resume training. In my opinion, off days are not needed.

Buckle down and get ready for a journey, not a walk but a Marathon, a commitment to setting a goal and making it happen!
