For those of you who do them, which direction do you do them in?

I always followed the example set by Gandolf in his tutorial video, where you grab your dick at the base and glans, bend it up, and do the rolling motion.

I remember seeing the original diagram that DLD put up when he first introduced this move, but in his, he bends it down and does the rolling motion.

Is either way good? Do they both work? I bend it upwards and it looks and feels like it's working. I find it a little more awkward to do it DLD's way, but I don't wanna miss out.

How do you guys do yours?

If you curve upwards, wouldn't DLD bending downwards create a downward curve to your shaft? Or is that the proper way to "attack" this particular movement?

I have an upward curve as well and want to keep it.

I dont follow the video itself.
I simply work from the base to just under the head in slow increments.
I bend the shaft left...hold for 30 secs than the same place bend right hold and carry on with down and upward bends.
I do this for the entire penis.
Also do ''U'' bends and ''S'' bends plus stretching versions of these exercises.
All are done while in a normal constrictor as-well.

Godsize,
I, like you, have a slight upward curve I want to keep. For that very reason, I alternate up and down bends when I do them. Since I started hanging recently, I have been contemplating only bending up, as I believe the hanging will tend to straighten me out. All this is a WAG, as I don't know if anyone has really seen an increase or decrease in curve - so who knows? But it did seem logical to me and so I do it.

I did gain in the past from Bends and my curve is smaller with a normal erection but becomes more pronounced when doing a intense Uli. This must be due to the stronger structures on the top(the ligs are attached there and reinforcing this area). Therefor it seems logical to me that this area is the key to tunica gains. If you "break"down the tissue there, expanding the rest of it is much easier and growth will occur.
Anyway, an upward curve looks cool but is more usefull for a small dick to stimulate the g-spot better but could cause problems with a big dick because of Cervix pain to the girl.

Pole,
Had not considered that. Time to reevaluate my program...

Pain? What are you talkin' about, man? It feels great to me! :p ha ha ha

So the bigger your dick gets, the less you need a curve because the bigger cock will crush all? I'd rather have the big AND cool-looking cock... cervix sHydromaxervix... I'll deal with that when it becomes an issue...like in a million years from now.

I do them with the clamp now and I grab by the glans, bend to one side and hold it. Then switch. Usually around 30 seconds per "bend". I also squeeze the glans during the bend. This pushes more blood inward and ups the pressure more. I love doing them downward while squeezing the glans. That direction for me anyway, gives the most stretch .

Squeezing the glans will have effect on the CS(lower chamber) only!

I think doing the DLD bends downwards was partly responsible for me developing that monster donut I posted about before.

They seem to be working upwards, so I'm sticking to the way that Gandolf did his for the video.

That's why mine is more developed than most. I feel a pressure increase in the entire penis though.

I do them predominately downward but when I was trying to create a slight upward curve I did them upward. When I developed this exercise I did it mainly for peyronies disorder. As I was testing it I saw the potential it had for girth work too. I added this exercise to my routine and have done it ever since.

So it's only the side being stretched that gets the girth gains from DLD bends? What about the side that's being compressed? Does that side grow in any way because of the compression?
