Hi MOS,

I was wondering why people are recommending 20 minute sets in hanging while extending for 1 hour is totally fine :p ?

I used to do 1 hour sets in my size genetics extender few years ago, but I don’ like extending so I quit. I had a shoe lace with some wrap and it was comfortable but it completely cut off circulation and my glans would turn very cold and purple... But I always ensured to restore circulation, so nothing really happened I guess...

I heard people talking on cell death, or tissue death or something if you go over 20 mins of compressing/extending. Well my dick should already be dead by now lol.

I didn’t think about until I started to look into hanging and suddenly I discovered that there is some time limit on it.

Is it possible to get my sets done quickly? Just hang for an hour and so my jelqs and bathmate after that and be done with it? Or am I completely wrong and missing crucial points?

Like in my eyes, extending and hanging are 2 similar things. They both cut off circulation completely, especially in my set up with the shoe lace attached behind my glans with some wrap.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hanging with a compression hanger does cut off blood flow, but it's not completely. Just close. The limit of no more than 20 minutes is for health, yes. Not sure about the extender stuff. Never got into them.
Hardly the same though. Extenders top out at around 3-5 pounds of resistance. Hanging can take you way beyond that with proper methodology as you adapt over time.

Agree.

If you have the correct weight and the hanger on right, 20 minute sets will produce fatigue, its all in getting to that sweet spot and maintaining the fatigue for as long as possible without causing yourself damage that takes time to repair from and out of your PE schedule.

Could you get everything done fast, yeah sure why not, but you want quality work not just reduced quantity, they can go hand in hand but dont sacrifice the former for time boundaries, perfect your craft first then work towards time reduction as you find out how to get maximum results in a time frame you can manage.

If i still had the option to work out of the house id probably invest in another hanger now that improvements are out beyond the BIB as i found hanging somewhat relaxing and enjoyable work.
