Is ephedrine supposed to supress appetite, speed up metabolism, or both? Because when I take it, it makes me really hungry. I am just wondering, for example: Lets say I normally eat a daily diet of food that pretty much maintains my current weight and body composition. If I continue to eat the same and exercise, and add ephedrine, should I lose fat without chanign my diet, assuming I was eating as diet that is exactly and maintenance levels. I always assumed ephedrine would speed you up, but I also thought one of the effects was dual in that it would speed you up and eat less. Whenever I take it, I cant stop eating. So I am going to try to just eat what I normally do.

Also, does it have effect by itself or must it be taken with caffeine for a synergistic effect?

Which ephedra product are you taking? Caffiene does make it more effective, but ephedra will work by itself. I've tried a few of the combos and ephedra should curb your appetite. My recommendation is to replace whatever ephedra (ma huang) product and replace it with a Ephedrine HCl product. The synthetic is more effective by far. Also, Ephedrine HCl isn't affected by the ban, which only affects the herbal products for fat loss.

I'm currently using a combo of San Tight and VasoPro Ephedrine HCl...works very well. Pretty much the best legal combo your gonna find. I like it better than Clen/T3, but only because Clen gives me headaches. And it's also illegal.

Hmmm, Ephedrine HCl never made me hungry. It really shuts me down in that regard. It also speeds you up. Are you taking anything else along with the Ephedrine? Any other supps?

Ephedra and ephedrine are very similar in there fat burning qualitiy's. I think Ephedra has been banned now so Ephedrine may be your only choice. They are simply products with amphetamine properties in that they largely suppress your appetite.
The ultimate food supressant is an amphetamine but repeated use could result in addiction, for example Speed.
Another food supressant which i wont recemmend is in fact nicotine, it really supresses the appetite not as much as an amphetamine would but does help you lose the weight, the one positive thing i found when i was a smoker!
Hope it helps :)

Update: I have basically no appetite. Back when I used Hydroxycut, that shit made me hungry. Now I am on Ephedrine HCL, it is 8:30 PM and I havent eaten. I need to force myself to eat.

That such a solid stack, throw in a few mg's of nicotine in gum and some Yohimbine HCL around 10mg-15mg/day and you're WIDEAWAKE.

Yeah...I like my pharm grade stims...who doesn't?

I think I'm gonna try Trim Spa, if it can work for that hot cow Anna Nicole, who knows anyone else try it?

Never heard of it.

What's in it, throw up the ingredient list and how many mgs per substance and we'll let you know if it's worth a crap.

Here is the info they posted on the website:

Discover the High-Speed Science Behind
Your DREAM BODY™ Diet Pill!

Hoodia Gordonii™ This amazing ingredient is a natural appetite suppressant used for generations by tribal hunters of South Africa to stave off hunger during long hunting expeditions. Now available to the West, “hoodia” can put an end to late afternoon hunger pangs, and give you a feeling of fullness long before you have the chance to overeat.
Glucosamine
This ingredient is so unique and useful, it was even recognized by the U.S. Government on July 16, 2002, when TRIMSPA® received an exclusive patent for its use! Glucosamine delays the effect of insulin in the body, sending glucose directly to your hard-working muscles for energy, instead of being transferred and deposited as ugly fat!

Green Tea Extract An important ingredient long known for its thermogenic properties, green tea contributes to some major fat burning! A tiny compound in green tea, called epigallocatechin gallate, has been shown to significantly reduce food intake and, subsequently, body weight in healthy adults. Bio flavanoids and polyphenols in green tea also fight harmful free radicals within your body!
Cocoa Extract The diuretic component of TRIMSPA® COMPLETELY EPHEDRA FREE, cocoa extract can help you shed the water weight that can contribute to a bloated feeling and unsightly appearance.
Citrus Naringinine This is a powerful citrus extract that aids in weight loss by curbing appetite. A source of soluble fiber, it is an antioxidant that prevents free radical damage.
Chromium Chelavite™ A patented form of chromium, this marvel mineral controls your blood sugar and nasty carbohydrate cravings. It also helps the body’s insulin metabolize fat, convert protein into sleek muscle, and turn sugar into energy. It’s 53% more absorbable than chromium picolinate!

Vanadium A naturally occurring appetite suppressant, vanadium can make you push the plate away, before overeating becomes an obstacle to weight loss. It also assists the metabolism in converting carbohydrates into energy.
Glucomannan
Another “anti-hunger” ingredient, this breakthrough dietary fiber assists in weight-loss due to its ability to create a sense of fullness, even when taken in small amounts.
Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose
Reduces the desire to overeat! This hard to pronounce compound forms a nontoxic, water-based gel that creates a sensation of fullness in the stomach before it passes through the digestive system.

Considering that they don't give the amount of each active per mgs, I would pass on this one.

And really, the only decent active in there is Green Tea Extract, and unless you're getting around 400mg of ECGC content from that than it's probably a waste.

I wouldn't purchase this.
