The Goliath is a bit more work to get attached properly and creates far-more Fluid Retention than my X40, so for those reasons I rarely use it. I also 'full-package' pump, so the FR is probably less cuz there's no room in the X40.
I've been doing my semi-monthly 'field studies' with various women (professional and civilian) and have come to the conclusion that any more girth will start presenting more problems (it's already an issue w/petite Asian women), so I'm toying with the idea of getting the new MOS MityPump with a slightly smaller circumference than my MSEG in order to impart all the forces length-wise and (hopefully) evening-out my slight baseball bat shape...

Is the Goliath more difficult to mod with the winevac?

The older valves can be a pain, I guess, as they don't have the nib and water keeps flowing. Other than that I don't see why it would be any more difficult than other models.

Those old Hercules and Goliath valves ... I'm sure glad they made revisions on many aspects. (For one the gaiter and valve.)

Thanks Ark, I kind of remember lightning saying that they changed the valves and the older pumps but I guess we will need to hear from him to know for sure. My Goliath is very old.

You can use a short piece of PVC as a 'go-between' and it'll work w/any BM model. I completely removed the valve which left my with just the cylinder, into which the VV cork fit perfectly...voila!
