I just bought this thing off Tv called the microtouch trimmer, specifically for trimming pubic hair. The thing works pretty good. I cleaned all the hair on my base, and all the hair on the shaft. Almost completely smooth. I got it for 14.99 on tv but I saw it at Walgreens for $9.99 and I was pissed, because I had to wait like a month to receive it in the mail plus shipping cost.

But anyways its pretty good for trimming, for those who like it short.

Can you shave the hair completely so that there's no stubble or anything?

yeah as long as you go against the grain its smooth, makes you feel bigger too because theres no hair, all flesh.

have you tried shaving with a mach 3 down in that area? which one is the better shave?

i currently use a mach 3 on my chest and pubic hairs..works great, though i end up with razor burn if i don't moisturize properly.

I dont know I dont use a razor on pubic area. But w/ this cheap trimmer there is no razor burn and you can touch it up everyday. Which is nice.

I dont know which is better but the trimmer is definatley easier, faster and no razor burn and no risk of cuts. (ouch!)

I dont know how much the Mach 3 but the trimmer is only 10 bucks and runs on a AAA battery.

I ordered one of those too. It should be arriving any day now. I got it mainly for a little trimming around the ears and eyebrows, but I'll see if there are any useful applications on the public region.

I just trimmed the jungle now I have a magical 2 new inches.

Hydromaxm only 10 bux too huh? i guess i'll have to pick one up from wallgreens this friday or saturday once i get my check and give it a nice try.

lol, trim the jungle, thas awesome....

but the trimmer is called the Microtouchtrimmer and its one of those As Seen on Tv things. You'll need a AAA battery too.

Mine came in the mail today. I played around with it on between my eyebrows and a little bit on my chest. It does seem to do a decent job--a worthwhile purchase for the grooming gadgets collection.

Saw they sold them in Rite Aid Pharmacy, I didn't pay much attention to them as I was looking for a beard trimmer. I use that instead. Scissors and a cheap Bic razor works for me.

I bought one of these the other day. I can't get it to make anything completely smooth. I've tried my lip, crotch, eyebrows etc.. I've tried with and without shaving cream. It just leaves really short stubble that hurts like hell if I move too slow/fast over it with the trimmer. Any suggestions?

It's definitely not designed to give you the super close, baby skin shave. Most electrical products will not get as close as a good blade razor. I notice the short stubble, but it's not uncomfortable or anything. The device is not ideal as a primary grooming tool, but only to reach those little places that are difficult to get by other means.

make sure you go slow and go against the grain. Also stretch the skin out so you dont pinch any. The stretch makes it easier to get all the hair too.

I must say, the trimming guide they say can be used for the eyebrows or mustache sucks, or I don't know how to use it. I can't get the damn thing to snap on.
