This prayer I use daily and it helped me in my darkest hour :) it WORKS!

Spirit of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin Mary, angels, archangels, and saints of Heaven, descend upon me.

Please purify me, Lord, mold me, fill me with yourself, use me.

Banish all forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanquiah them, so that I can be healthy and do good deeds.

Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice, ties, maledictions, and the evil eye; diabolical infestations, oppressions, possessions; all that is evil and sinful, jealousy, perfidy, envy; physical, psychological, moral, spiritual, diabolical ailments.

Burn all these evils in hell , that they may never again touch me or any other creature in the entire world.

I command and bid all the powers who molest me - by the power of God all powerful, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, through the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary - to leave me forever, and to be consigned into the everlasting hell, where they will be bound by Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Gabriel, Saint Raphael, our guardian angels, and where they will be crushed under the heel of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.

Amen.

Jesus calls him the "prince of this world" (Jn 12; 31, 14:30, 16:11)
"The whole world is in the power of the evil one" (1 Jn 5:19)

I'm glad someone appreciates it. This helpes allot and will protect you through your entire life.

I ask God into my heart everyday: it relieves any stress full with peace

Good practice!

This was recited at the end of the every mass ... we should recite it daily.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

On Sunday April 24th 1994, Pope John Paul II recommended this prayer be used by all Catholics as a prayer for the Church when he said:

'"May prayer strengthen us for the spiritual battle we are told about in the Letter to the Ephesians: 'Draw strength from the Lord and from His mighty power' (Ephesians 6:10). The Book of Revelation refers to this same battle, recalling before our eyes the image of St. Michael the Archangel (Revelation 12:7). Pope Leo XIII certainly had a very vivid recollection of this scene when, at the end of the last century, he introduced a special prayer to St. Michael throughout the Church. Although this prayer is no longer recited at the end of Mass, I ask everyone not to forget it and to recite it to obtain help in the battle against forces of darkness and against the spirit of this world."'

Needed more than ever

The world is in a very bad place but we can take solace in the words of Matthew and Daniel knowing that time is short and Christ is coming. All these things that needed to happen for Christ Jesus to come back. Come Jesus come!

Seems like your grieve is legit and you see the world as a place of punishment, destruction, idleness, darkness, deceit, selfishness, egolatry.

Maybe all of the above is true, but don't you think there's still hope for humanity?

of course there is hope for humanity! I pray every day that Jesus comes back to end this world and to bring us into the New World. The present pain and suffering will not compare to the unbelievable joy and happiness we will gain when Christ returns. I am all about hope!

I'm grateful for this thread. I've copied all the prayers and I'm using them daily
