"Powering Up your ROP"
#1
I am relatively new to Penis Enlargement, just entered my third week, but I've really gone headfirst into this stuff.

If you don't want to read all the stuff that led up to this then just go to summary. If you want to learn something read on...

I assembled my first Ring of Power (ROP) yesterday. (Yeah for me!) The first thing I did was hook it up to my multimeter for a voltage reading. I got .75 volts. Not bad, not great but not bad. I used a zinc corrosion inhibitor plug which I purchased for $6.54 (USD) from http://www.mcmaster.com/
Item #3606K1 (got that info over at Thunders place) I picked up some copper tubing at True Value a mile down the road and got the latex tubing at my local bait and tackle store . I threaded the tubing through the hollow copper tube so I only had to stretch it over the two ends of the zinc rod. (made assembly a little easier)

Now here's the thing: I wore the ROP overnight and in the morning decided to do another voltage check. I got a dismal .2 volts <:(

So it got me thinking about how to boost the voltage. I'm no electrical engineer but the most obvious solution was to increase the acidity of my skin to increase the efficiency of the galvanic elements. Much like acid is used in batteries, whether in your car or your FleshLight.

So the first thing that came to mind was lemon juice. I went to the fridge pulled out some lemon juice concentrate and applied it to my skin where the ROP makes contact and BINGO! I from .2 volts to .77 volts!

Then I got to thinking that over a period of time your skin pH (or range of acidity) is going to change. For example if you take a shower and use soap, which is basic, it's going to neutralize your skins natural acidity. Likewise sweating may increase it.

The point is, to keep your ROP working at peak efficiency you need to keep up your skins acidity. So far I have just tried lemon juice, but in practice anything that is acidic will work. Want to leave your girls breath smelling minty fresh? Try Listerine, it contains Benzoic acid. :D

In summary (for those of you who don't like stories...Applying a small amount of lemon juice, either fresh or from concentrate will boost the efficiency of your ROP. As stated above I measured .2 volts prior to applying lemon juice and .77 volts after.

And no the lemon juice (citric acid) does not cause any irritation...unless your allergic to lemons...if so see my bad joke about Listerine above.

Comments and critiques welcome.

I'm guessing the liquid is reducing the resistance between your skin and the ROP thus improving the flow of current and that it wouldn't need to be an acid. Have you tried anything else like water or maybe vaseline which wont evaporate or be absorbed into your skin so fast?

Any idea if a constantly "high" voltage level (.7) is better than one that varies with your activity level (.2-.7)?

Well Smertrios, I'm really just playing around with some ideas I've had. I only put my ROP together yesterday so I can't say I have any experience with it.

Maybe Supra or DLD can provide a little info. I know Supra had a thread about using saline solution inside the tubing to increrase efficiency. That was the thread that got the gears turning for me.

But I will try some other mediums like you mentioned to see if there's a difference.

It could also be that a layer of corrosion is building up on the copper and zinc rods . You can rub the rods with something like 600grit sandpaper daily to help with cunduction.

im gonna order that corrosion thing from mcmaster..already knew about the rop trick with acidy or whatever, I just make sure its moist down there (usually its sweaty because im so active) and now its summer so that'll be no problem at all. :)

very good thread though! :D

Yeah Sikdogg,
I agree about the corrosion. I wear mine at night and every AM I clean my ROP with a little steel wool to keep it shiney. It seems to corrode quickly when you wear it all the time.

I have also noticed that voltage can vary greatly. In just the 2 days that I've been experimenting I've gotten variations from .2 volts to as high as 2.35 volts. With the highest readings coinciding with the application of a little citric acid. So I'm going to start applying a little before bed and after getting up in the morning in addition to keeping the corrosion down.

Here are a couple figures I got from a thread at Thunders about electrolytic values.

Lithium -3.05 Magnesium -2.37 Aluminum -1.66 Zinc -0.763 Iron -0.44 Tin -0.14 Copper +0.337 Carbon +0.74 Silver +0.799 Gold +1.5

So any of these matels could be combined to take advantage of their electrolytic values. Combining Gold and Lithium would give you (under ideal circumstances) 4.55 volts. The standard here Zinc @-0.763 and Copper @+.337 would ideally produce 1.1 volts. So I kind of wondered how I could get readings above 1.1 volts.

It may be that the zinc rods are not pure zinc but incorporate different metals effecting the purity of the metal.

Any electro-chemical engineers in this group? :D

Anyhow, I have noticed a definite difference in ability to hold an erection (at first I thought it was the kegles, then I realized I haven't been doing that much kegling)

So for the few bucks and the couple of hours it takes to get the supplies and assemble one (or for you lazy *sses to order one from Supra,no offense bro) it is well worth the effort you put into it.

BTW Supra, if you happen to read this I have a question for ya: If you stop using the ROP for a while does that effect the results you've acheived using it?

Anyhow, I'm sure all this has been discussed before but there are a lot of new guys here that I'm sure haven't heard all this so thats why I'm making all this noise.

You vets, feel free to put in your $.02

Ok, I dunno if this would work or not but I dont have a multimeter either. I assembled my rop by putting lemon juice in the tubing and marine goop on top so it wouldn't slip off the metal rods . The saline solution works, would lemon juice?

Very cool idea. I wear mine almost 24/7, so I need to clean the rods every day, too.

Have you tried experimenting with other substances to see the effect on voltage, like the aforementioned vaseline, or lotion, etc? I don't have a volt meter, or I'd do it myself.

if you're going to use vaseline or any other petroleum-based products, just make sure it doesn't touch the rubber part. that causes quick deterioration.

I did a quick test using vaseline (I got the damned baby scented stuff, I was smelling flowery all day)

Anyway, the vasaline actually lowered the voltage. I'm no wiz with a multimeter but I've checked amperage too and if I'm reading this right it runs at about 5-10 amps. More amperage with the lemon juice.

TimBo- I'm not sure putting lemon juice inside the tubing would make much of a difference because the acid needs to contact as much surface area as possible on the metal parts of the ROP, besides, if the tubing lets go it will look like you pissed your pants. Might require some quick explanations...

Instead, put the lemon juice on your skin where the metal makes contact. this will give the best results. I do it twice a day and you will notice that the corrosion on the rods increases also, so you will need to clean them regularly.

Another thing about the ROP that takes me back to my school days. When I was a kid and wanted to get out of school early I used to stick a copper penny in my sock before putting on my shoe. (BTW this wouldn't work with a modern penny, too much aluminum in them) The copper would react with your sweat to give you a slight headache and a very mild fever. It never hurt, but it usually got me past the school nurse. Anyhow, I happened to notice the first day I wore my ROP all day I had a slight headache. Don't know if I had a fever, as it was frickin 94 degrees out.

But since then the only side effect I've noticed are that my balls are looking like the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor from the copper :D (the green color washes off with a shower in case your wondering)

Let me know if any of you have success with measureing your ROP output.

Yeah sikdogg, I think that was one of the threads that got me experimenting with my ROP. This morning I applied the lemon juice and put on my ROP and went to work as usual. I hadn't checked it in a while so when i got home I pulled out the old multimeter.

The readings were off the scale! (probably because I was still sweating from work) I normally set the dial at .25 sensitivity and get a measuement of .75 volt. But today I had to move the sensitivity up to 2.5 to get a reading and measured 1.5 volts. Whats with that!

Then I put the contacts on either side of my member and actually got a reading of .2 volts from my dick! :D :O

the two different metals create a counter stream of ions. the acidity helps the conduction, like the hydrichloric acid in your car battery. In fact the 2 metals in your car battery is lead and carbon(carbon isn't a metal but will lose electrons) with acid.

so the acidity simply increased the ion stream. standard galvanic cells for standards purposes are quoted in saline solution which is not acidic.
