I've been somewhat able to to reproduce lig pops. This one comes in two steps:
1. In the warm shower I will jelq and do stretches/cranks with blood near the tip (because I can't get a good grip). My stretches are always done using reverse kegels and with pretty decent intensity (my arms definitely get a workout from it).
2. In the cold bathroom after I dry off I'm completely flaccid and my grip is like superglue. I stretch downwards and slightly towards the back of my body. Again, using a reverse kegel and visualizing trying to rip my penis off. If my dick does make that pop, it will usually happen on one of the first few reps or else it wont happen at all.
To pinpoint this. It comes when I'm attempting to rip out the dick angling the stretch to target those two prong things that attach the dick to the body. I've searched for a diagram and http://actiontao.com/image/fig6-17b.jpg is the best I could find.
Lig pops don't feel like anything. It's like cracking your knuckles but without any pain. It's kind of like hearing a pop coming from where your dick is attached but instead of hearing it with your ears from the air vibrations, you sense it through the vibrations in your body. The first time I got it was when I stretched out a 95% boner forwards.
