Anybody know Jenna Jameson is Tito's woman. I never knew that. Danget I wanna kick his ass!!! LOL

I don't think she is. I just think she's a UFC and Tito Ortiz fan. I mean, I'm sure she'd do him, given she's done hundreds of others, but I don't think there is anything going on.

Isn't she involved with Dave Navarro or has that one finished already?

I was so hoping I would find Jenna at UFC 53 and convince her to give me a picture with her, because I would have been the envy of some of my guys friends for the rest of their lives. :) But, I don't think she was at that event.

Practice fighting off your back and defending against elbows. :D

...ha ha ha... good one, I wonder if Shamrock ever thought of that.

I use to like Ken back in the old days but after the reality show with him and Tito, I lost all respect. The guy truly appeared to be an ass. Tito showed some class after the fight as I guess Shamrock did as well.

So now it's Tito and Chuck in December. Any thoughts??

Yeah, but Ken still has more class than Tito. I respect Tito for his hard work and abilities, but as a good sport he doesn't compare to Ken.

I haven't lost respect for Ken. Shit happens when you get older. Granted, he is only 42, but in the fighting world, a lot of injuries occur in that 10 year timeframe. He isn't as good as he once was, his timing is off, and he isn't as quick or powerful. Can't blame the guy for being a bit overzealous, afterall he was unstoppable ten years ago and now he's lost a lot of that ability. Kinda sad, and discouraging in the heart of a warrior. I give him credit for going into a fight where he knew he would take a beating. It was for his pride, pardoxically. He knew deep down he didn't stand a chance, but the warrior inside him that kicked so many an ass one decade ago told him he could do it. I still look up to the man.

Tito seems like a good guy at heart, the way he supported his guys on TUF3. I don't mind his antics. I like some color brought to the sport, as long as it doesn't get ridiculous and start looking like pro wrestling or some shit.

Ken does seem like an okay guy, but he gets a little carried away with some of his stuff. He should have never let his anger towards Ortiz escalate to the point it did and maybe he would have saved a few stitches. I mean, I'm convinced the guy would stand in front of a rolling freight train if he felt the train was not giving him his due "respect". Fuck, I mean let it go already.

It's hard to judge how good a guy like Shamrock really is/was. I cannot take anything away from his accomplishments and his role in the early days of the sport. But I cannot help but think he racked up some wins against really easy opponents, by today's standards. In the early UFC days, no one was training for this kind of event for years on end. He would face a guy that was purely a karate fighter, boxer, wrestler, etc. and not a well-rounded fighter, which he was. Obviously there were some tough guys in there with names like Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, and others, but the overall talent level of the sport as a whole was a joke compared to today. The early UFC events were filled with guys that were proficient in one form of fighting and said "hey, I'll try that". Meanwhile, a younger generation was watching these pay-per-views and began training in various arts and learned how to truly fight a "mixed martial arts" style, not simply bring their martial art into the game. The talent pool was weak. There is no way Ken would have faired as well. It's the same reason I was sure Royce Gracie had almost no chance of beating Matt Hughes, and that proved accurate. Would Ken be what he is if he started today with the same exact skills? No. Is Ken Shamrock a legend that deserves to be in the Hall of Fame where he is? Absolutely!

But to debate against penguins fan, at the time that the ufc started it was to show which fighting style was the most dominant, and up until around ufc 10 or so it was all a single fighting style vs another, then people started the evolution that was crosstraining, i mean that would be the same as compairing a person of the 80's who hung weights from his dick and only that to comparing someone who does girth work as well. Its all evolution, ken was just a stone in the path of evolution.

so to say what would happen if ken was in his prime is hard to say, Tito hasn't really evolved from how he started or he hasn't had to show it yet, its the same as chuck hasn't had to evolve from being a striker because no-one has really found a decisive way to break his style. Until they have there is no reason to change the game plan, Tito's learned i hope from each loss, one was cardio, one was a k.o. one he got beat at his own game, and i can't remember if he got subbed my mezger in his first loss, but its not like he hasn't added anything to his arsenal.

ken in his prime was educated but didn't utilize every thing in 3 of the first 5 ufcs he broke his hands cause he didn't utilize elbows, sure he had the subs but he didn't have the defence of subs.

Its all evolution and it all comes from learning from mistakes,

I so stand corrected. Tito and Jenna HAVE been dating since June. :O

I would then have to assume that Tito is now divorced and I know he only got married maybe 3 years ago or so.

I'm starting to watch this now, but I don't know a whole lot about it. My younger brother definitely does and is crazy about it.

As for this

That sounds about right, doesn't it? Three years...married...divorced. It makes me think about when I will get married and divorced for the first time.

Dude, it's good shit! You'll love it. Make sure you order the Nov. 18th pay-per-view or find a bar that carries it. Also, on Nov. 11th there is a free event on Spike TV that will have the finale of the The Ultimate Fighter 4 as well as some undercard events.

That's not your average marriage. Yes, it happens to some, but not most. Don't judge the institution by how celebrities and other figures end up with it. I mean, did anyone seriously think Jenna was going to stay married?

That's cool. I'll have to do that. Thanks man.

Ha, I know man. I was just messing around, but I really don't ever want to get married myself so I sort of poke fun of failed marriages a bit even though that's absolutely horrible. I don't like to see people miserable, but when it's so obvious on the outside that the two people WILL BE miserable or that it won't work then well it's hard not to chuckle a bit when they split. It's never pretty, but hey. I don't envy the people involved in such relationships. No one stays married in my family so I guess that's a bit why I am that way.
