In his original post he mentioned it was to hold extra skin back and keep his balls out of the way, so he could place the clamp as far down the shaft as possible.

that’s it my brother and I’m so sorry that you had to experience this. When I invented the SlowSquashJelq It was in response to clamping. That’s why I put the 5×5×3 together that gives incredible growth very very safely. In the end we want to penis that is the size we want but we also want to look nice and clean with no thrombosis or discoloremtent.

Yeah the thing with clamping it's not for everyone, and tricky. Yes it can be dangerous, and when I started it nearly 20 years ago ? nothing like 5x5x3 existed.
This isn't to say clamping is dead, it's effective but allot of guys just can't execute it to the desired safe level due to its risk factor.
I gained huge with it, but I also had scares in the early days with it.
