Does anyone have this issue? When I pump its almost as if my penis pumps towards the left side of the hydromax wall as opposed to straight up

Mine will do the same thing Big. I have found that you have to get your dick centered in the pump and hold it steady in order for it to pump straight. I usually end up with it going to one side or the other but I try to keep it as close to center as I can.

I put a dab or two of high-end hair conditioner on my shaft and glans...this way when I come in contact with any part of the cylinder, it just slides and there's no friction-pain

I use either conditioner or coconut oil as well and it moves easily in the tube. It still wants to go to one side or the other sometimes.

Any type of lube is definitely the way to go. When I used my bathmate with the 5x5x3 I'd jelq with coconut oil or vasoline. This provides enough glide to get an awesome stretch inside the tube without and friction.

How would you get the oil out of the valve?

I usually run hot water through mine following every session. I also use a bath cloth to clean the outside and inside walls to remove any residue left over. So far I have not had any issues with oil build up in the valve

Yeah, the valve is what I was concerned with, I am glad it is holding up with an oil based product.

After reading this yesterday I switched and used conditioner last night and it worked as well if not better than the coconut oil and rinsed out easier. It actually seemed more slippery to me so I will likely keep using the conditioner and use the coconut oil for after the session

Me either BB. I had to give props to BSA, the conditioner does work really well if you don't have any other product on hand

If it comes from BSA then it's legit! I've said it before. When I get my new bathmate I will be doing everything he advises!

I don't know about that, he puts balls and all inside the pump. I have not been that brave yet, lol

I've found the coconut oil i use to jelq let's my dick slide up so it doesn't get stuck in the sides

Mine does the same with coconut oil DM.

Just be careful Brothers to completely clean the BathMate after using an oil product. Use hot water and a dish soap and be sure to get all oils out or valve will clog.

Exactly!

From my own experience I've used a water-soluble lubricant which still stays slick under water. A body lotion could work quite well too, just like hair conditioner does! Or a 50/50 lubricant, water and silicone combined for example.
With oils (coconut for example, I see it being used in various uses) can truly clog the valve AND your skin! So remember to give your penis a nice clean up after a session. I've had issues related to several oils actually, even with cleaning there's some residue at times that can do harm. And when you're inside the pump, the oils could seep to the skin more due to skin expansion. (Highly on the "could", I don't have any studies to go by with my sayings!)

Just a heads up in that category. I'm still waiting for a minor surgery related to quite possibly to oil of somesort. But then again I also have an oily and hairy skin. The individual thing comes to play again. ;)
So far in skincare for me shea butter has been a key ingredient for better skin and no issues, so far at least! *Knock on wood*
Coconut oil, while divine in scent and having many good properties, can be quite clogging for some people. (Rated quite high on comedogenic index list.)
