So, ever since I can remember, I have seen guys talking about this kind of stuff. A lot of new guys to Penis Enlargement get started, see some nice gains up front....usually swelling due to the shock of the new stresses being applied to the tissues...or sometimes it is genuine growth, many times it is 'gaining back' size they have lost from their younger years because of typical poor diet issues or lessened blood flow, both typical causes of what society has for the most part accepted as "normal" problems for men to develop with age. I keep seeing this comon mind set that seems to prevail on all of the Penis Enlargement forums though...a mind set very similar to the one of "great gains are an INCH a year!". The mind set that it is normal and expected that gains WILL slow after a given time frame. This is another one of those mental hurdles guys. Your gains do NOT have to slow! BUT, if you do like most guys do and buy into this concept that gains are supposed to slow down, your gains will slow down. The mind is a powerfull thing guys. Accepting that gains will slow down as you progress plays with your subconcious mind and you start slacking off on your routines...putting less focus and intensity into them, skipping a day because you dont feel like it becomes more comon. Soon, you skip a whole week at a time because youre "just too tired", missing workouts no longer bothers you like it used to. You wont realize that this is what is going on either...you will chalk it up to the 'fact' that "the exercises just arent working for me anymore". You stop searching for ways to add more intensity to your exercises...you stop trying new exercises after the old ones seem to stop giving you gains, and before you know it...you havent seen any new gains in a year. So, dont fall into the trap of thinking that gains ARE supposed to slow down! Thats Thundersplace mentality! We're better than that arent we?

I understand the gist of what you're saying about positive attitude, but if you literally believe that your gains never have to slow then you must believe that a man can develop a 40-inch cock?
I remember adding 120 lbs to my benchpress in the first 6 months I lifted, and thinking "Damn, if this keeps up for another 18-20 months, I'll be the world record holder.
Yeah...........right. My gains did slow down - big time. The key is in knowing how to make adjustments. Even then, there are limits -- as with all things.

LOL, now who would want a 40 inch cock? That would be pretty sili wouldnt it? The point of my post is to illustrate the fact that too many guys begin to think that after seeing a period of nice gains they will start seeing less growth or stop seeing gains all together and that this is totally normal and nothing that can be avoided. Guys who go along with this belief are the ones most likely to stop seeing gains. Of course the body has its physical limits but, many guys never seem to reach their goals or end up settling for less than they could have because of the wrong mind set or being mislead by others.

LOL, 40" cock. Imagine the awe...... I do agree with the stagnation theory which can and will come about through believing what others say. Anyone could fall into that trap. You believed in the possibility you could gain so you joined this and maybe other forums too. Some have had great gains while other have had minimal gains. Genetics may have some role in it but, I do think that prioritizing other things in life and not making the necessary time and doing the exercises properly, and doing so with the positive belief that what you are doing can and does make a difference. Seeing is believing and believing is seeing.....

wouldn't diet and other factors play a role in Penis Enlargement as well? While a lot is affected by the state of mind, even minimal amounts of stress or malnutrition could lead so slow muscle build-up...
But yeah, i See what you mean. Can't make your body do what your mind can't handle.

Nevermind 40 inch cock bullshit.
SWM is marely being a POSTIVE leader here.
Hes an ex-Military...he knows the mind shit.....he is just using his speech for you...if you know how...to boost yourself into getting them gains.

Of-course it aint gunna give you UNLIMITED gains....but it will sure feel like it ....its MENTAL some of you took his words the wrong way alittle.

I liked the speech alot...hats of trooper

Then why don't you follow SWM's lead & quit being so negative. What I said wasn't "bullshit" (as if you'd know the difference). I was simply stating that there are limits, and that gains will slow - not "bullshit," but a physiological reality.
SWM wasn't pissed off (he knew what I meant), only you were. I guess you're still pissed off that I honestly responded that post in which you sought honest responses.

I would need more than 40" to wrap around my fat ass waist:p

yeah, I have a feeling that some of it is contributed to the negativity of other people. Penis Enlargement in general is an example of this. "There is no possible way to lengthen the penis without surgery".

good example of a doctor's opinion on jelqing.

There are just too many naysayers out there. If you listen to them, you'll probably become one yourself and it WILL hinder your gains because you won't be putting in 110% like you should be. don't let the negative people or a negative attitude bring you down.

Waxn I have no idea what ya talking about.
I am confused....I aint negative at all man....I wasnt getting at you..just saying that 40 inches is bulshit.

I aint annoyed.. You would all know if I was pissed off :p
Take it easy dude...smoke some weed, take pills or summut just chill and dont be so paranoid with me...I dont give a fuck about the past...move on dont take what I say to heart,

c ya

Spektrum, I'm sure not negative about Penis Enlargement. I've made gains (1" erect girth & more than 1" erect length) - and I'm in the middle of an exciting growth phase now, thanks to DLD's Bundled Stretches & modified A Stretches. I just think that there's a fine line to walk between patient optimism & impatient discouragement. Some guys only do get 1" in a year (like me), but if I expected 3" in a year, or an inch in a couple months, I would've quit already. I'm just stressing that gains do slow down, and for some guys they're always slow. I believe that SWM has been doing Penis Enlargement for a few years now, to gain 2-2.25 inches - that's not exactly "blazing fast." Nonetheless, those are damn quality gains and I know I'd be proud of them.
In my opinion, optimism comes from: (1) confidence that Penis Enlargement is real & truly works, and (2) knowing that your patience will be rewarded, and (3) any gain (even 0.2") is a good gain!
However, pessimism can creep in if you expect huge gains in a brief period of time, then don't get them. Sure, some guys are damn lucky, they'll get 3-3.5" in their first year; but to expect such fantastic gains is to set oneself up for failure.
Understand, I'm not saying that decent gains must take a long time - it's just that they usually do, so be prepared.
I think that's hardly negative; it is, in fact, encouraging.

The only reason people think there gains 'slow dowm' are because they make good gains in there first month and then they use the same routine for the following months. Same length routine and around the same intensity, as the penis is now more used to the exercises it needs more work to get it to grow the same as last time. They just dont change they routine and there penis gets more and more used to it.

pUNKY,
You have me intrigued, so I'm trying to understand your point. Either you're saying that you indeed believe that a 40-inch penis is possible....or....you're saying that a person's gains should be steady & uniform until....they stop cold? So, maybe 0.2" per month for 11.3 months then SPLAT, no more gains ever?
I'm sorry, I just don't understand that. When a rational person posits a theory, they're supposed to examine it to it's logical conclusion....but I just can't find such a conclusion in the statement that "gains should not slow down."
So....either they go on forever, or they come to a screetching halt. That is neither negative or positive - it's irrational.

Just keep working, and up the intensity, you should keep gaining. There may be a limit, so I'll find out if I hit it. ;)

I've got a positive gun-ho attitude about pe, and am on the road to 3" in my first year. So far I've gained about .5" in two months

I want this on my tombstone:)

One more point on this topic and I'm done with it....
SWM, I read about your progress log somewhere. I can't remember the exact numbers, but you indicated something like a 5/8" gain from hanging, in a relatively short period of time - but you were logging mad hours. Yet, you've stopped hanging.
And I believe that you stated you went from about 6 to nearly 8" during the first couple years or so. Yet, your measurement in your sig hasn't changed for quite awhile....
The point I'm making is that your own experience should suggest to you that gains DO slow down - for yours certainly have.
I gained 0.5" erect girth during my first month of Penis Enlargement (from 5.2 to 5.7"). Now, 11 months later, my midshaft girth should be 11.2", right? After all, I'm still doing Penis Enlargement.
Yet, in reality, I gained 0.5" EG the first month - and it took me another 11 months to duplicate that gain. Yet, I didn't "expect" it would take me that long, nothing "psychological," it just happened. The same with length - my comes in fits & stops. I've gotten 1/8" in a week; yet, to sustain such growth would be to expect 6.5" per year (which would put me at about 13.75" LOL).
Gains DO slow down. Get over it and move on with Life.

I have gained what I have stated to have in my history thread. Youre correct that I had made nice gains in the past from hanging. My most recent "big gain" from hanging was a 3/4" increase in just under three months. Yes, I was logging "mad hours", 4 hours total a day average, 6 days a week. I could not keep up with that hanging schedule for reasons of my own sanity, the fact that I have gone back to school, and also because my penis was taking more of a beating than I liked. None of your words have upset me. I tend to take constructive feedback better than most. As far as my personal gains 'slowing'.....that has only been the case for me personally because of my own doing. I think if I could have kept hanging on the above mentioned schedule, I would have kept gaining at a similar pace albeit with a very mutilated penis. So yes, my gains have fluctuated over the last few years, I have had months, often several in a row with NO gains, then months with nice gains for several months in a row. SO, from MY personal experience WaxN and my fellow Penis Enlargement'ers, gains do not slow per se....if the individual doing the WORK is consistant. This being the imperfect world it is....consistency has been my biggest challenge with my Penis Enlargement routines. NOT some genetic factor or because my penis hit a 'plateu' with gains. I think consistency or a lack of it is in fact most guys' challenge. Our personal lives and the schedules that revolve around them play a role in the consistency of our Penis Enlargement routines to varying and sometimes uncontrollable degrees.

I'm just a stubborn son of a bitch. Tell me I can't and i'll find a way to prove you wrong.

Case in point, in the "what you can become" thread I mentioned a lot about plants. I had a nurseryman tell me it was impossible to propagate (root) a certain type plant that I was interested in mass producing. I experimented for about a month and got developed a system that worked. I took 100 "cuttings" and put them in a rooting box. I did this repeatedly and got 95 to 99 new plants each time.

If my gains start to slow I change the ball game.

Please understand that I am not knocking anyone or their theory.I have been told by several doctors that I would have massive stroke and die. I have had malignant hypertension (uncontrollable high blood pressure) since I was 13. If I sit around and think about that stuff I get depressed and the BP goes higher. I intend to prove the dr. wrong. According to them I should have been history 3 years ago. I am doing the same thing to my body that I am to my penis. I refuse to accept that it has to be this way. I joined a gym, totally changed my diet, lost a little weight, and am desperately trying to work on my attitude and mental focus.

Yeah I expect my gains to slow down because I intend to slow down AFTER I reach my goal.

C-Guy, you are a genius! So, I guess we can say....Gains are "relative". So, applying this theory, and using 'E' for Gains, we could say "E=Penis Enlargement2". Or E=Penis Enlargement squared! LOL. I never intend most of my posts to carry on like they do. Some people just end up taking them too seriously or reading waaaaay to deeply into them.
