This is taken from my routine log. Page 23 post 451. Feel free to ask questions and give suggestions.

This post will be a long one and is to document my current setup with the LG Hanger. It is subject to change.

All materials I use. I'm cut so this is how I attach mine. I use an 8 inch and 12 inch strip of Tender tape. The pink band is taken from an X-sleeve and is used as a girth band. The LG attaches to the penis via expansion of the penis in the hanger opposed to compression from other hangers. There is the clear sheath, two rubber bands, velcro strap, the LG Hanger & the hand-pump also
View attachment 28771

I fold the sheath a little to stretch it onto the hanger and then I unroll that flap. Part of keeping the sheath in good condition is taking it off the hanger at the end of the day and fairly often rinsing it with water and sometimes soap to keep fuzz and dust from building up. After rinsing and drying the sheath is alot more tacky and tacky helps stick to the hanger and your skin/tape better.
View attachment 28772

I tuck the sheath inside the hanger and then attach the rubber bands. The tuck is optional I just find it quicker and easier to position the bands.
View attachment 28773

Sheath untucked with bands attached
View attachment 28774

Girth band placed. I personally put it 2-3 inches down the shaft and will let the sheath roll on top of it.
View attachment 28775

I use the 8 inch piece of tape to wrap around the girth band and skin infront of it. Before doing this some of the skin in front would get sucked on in the vacuum, almost like being pinched and would leave a ring of very mild edema, no biggie but just to use caution I now wrap this area. I will slightly spiral the tape up towards the head after the first pass.
View attachment 28776

Overlapping the 8 inch piece with the 12 inch piece. Since the LG is based on expansion to grip the penis you want it tight but not too tight to halt expansion.
View attachment 28777

Squeezing the base with one hand to inflate the glans before wrapping the glans. This will give some breathing room for when you add the vacuum and eventually weights. I try to make sure the area directly under the head on the ventral side (underside) is well wrapped as this is the area where edema seems to be easily formed.
View attachment 28778

Fully wrapped penis. I wrap past head and then tuck overwrap onto self sticking tape like is recommended by the makers of the LG.
View attachment 28779

Roll of sheath onto hanger. Makes attaching easier and smoother as it will roll right onto penis.
View attachment 28780

Insert penis all the way into the well of the Hanger. I also squeeze at the base before unrolling the sheath to make my penis expand. Remember expansion is important.
View attachment 28781

Unroll sheath.
View attachment 28782

Now you'll need to know what vacuum you're going to use. The general recommendation is 1 mmHg for each 1 lb up to 15 lbs and then just keep it around 15 mmHg for each weight after. I started with 5 here because I'm helping the expansion along. I'll add vacuum to 5 mmHg and then pulse-tug to help with expansion. Repump to 5 mmHg if need be and repeat until fully expanded. Then slowly add the amount of vacuum needed for the weight used. I'm using 8.75 lbs currently so I'll pump up to 9 mmHg.
View attachment 28783

Pulse-tug/ Pulse-push. Its just adding a few pounds of pull with your hands and releasing. Rinse & repeat a few times.
View attachment 28784

Vacuum level decreased after Pulse-tug.
View attachment 28785

Pumped up to amount of vacuum needed to hold the weights. In my case at this moment 9 mmHg
View attachment 28786

Attach weight with hand-pump still connected
View attachment 28787

Attach velcro strap to better secure vacuum and prevent leaks. I place it directly on top of the girth band and helps make sure no air will leak out. I do it while the weights are attached because at that point I have reached expansion in the tube but when the weights is added the penis can thin out as its being stretched. So to prevent any air from escaping from any loose areas that might be made open during the thinning of the stretched penis I attach the velcro strap to help snug everything up.
View attachment 28788

Lifting up on the weights will prove my point as there has been some air leak before I placed the strap.
View attachment 28789

Pump back up. Lower the weights. Repeat a few times to make sure no leaks are being made.
View attachment 28790

Rest weights. I may pump up .5 to 1 mmHg more just to be sure I have enough vacuum before detaching the hand pump. Sometimes I think you can lose a little vacuum from just disconnecting the hand-pump. This time I did not. Ideally rest the weights on something that is waist level so it'll be easier to set them down to hang after you disconnect the hand-pump.
View attachment 28791 View attachment 28792

FINALLY WEIGHTS HANGING!!! Now that I have my routine down it'll take me 2 minutes to attach the hanger perfectly.
View attachment 28793

Penis did swell a little after hanging 8.75 pounds for 45 minutes. I'm coming back from taking almost a month off so some of this is due to need for conditioning again. As long as I didn't get a blister and most of it disappears within 10 minutes in case I need to hang another set I'm fine with it. The more swelling the longer it takes to go away of course, not to mention chance of blisters forming increase. To this day with all my vacuum hanging I've had much worse edema but no blisters.
View attachment 28794View attachment 28794View attachment 28795

10 min after hanging. Most of the swelling is gone.

***EDIT***
I now recommend microfoam tape not microporte, in cross sectional strips over the glans. I also recommend a shoelace wrapped tightly over the sleeve and shaft and tied in place, instead of the velcro strip. I use a thin blue sleeve from my Max-Vac instead of the blue coban tape but coban could still be used

Cool I've got a LG it's easy to get on and comfortable I'm just struggling to find the time to hang that's my problem

I've had just about ever hanger under the sun. Snakehanger, captain's wench, X4. I also built my own compression hanger using some ground clamps to mimic the "ok" grip of a hand. In the end, the LG is by far the best and most comfortable hanger I've ever used. Although I've dealt with a few blisters getting used to it, as this is my first vacuum hanger, I've never had to worry about serious, inner-tissue injuries as I did with prior compression hangers.

Longstretch, not to mess with your routine at all, but I've found something incredibly helpful when hanging. After the first pump, I do nothing for five minutes. This allows the fluid/friction to build up. Then, I pump again to re-establish the grip and hang the weights. This little trick has helped me avoid all blisters or injury, because by the time you attach weights, the grip will be on the shaft instead of the glans. In my opinion, attaching too early before the glans have had time to adjust causes the hanger to grip onto the head/very tip of the glans. This causes suction in the wrong place, resulting in blisters.

Additionally, something that worked for me is avoiding the recommended glans wrapping method. I was also doing the "fold-over" method, but found it was causing blisters. Like you, I am cut. Instead, I now wrap the base of the glans but leave the top unwrapped. I put a little bit of vaseline on there before insertion. Again, this helps avoid friction and I've had no blisters or issues since using this method.

Just a thought. Feel free to try it or disregard altogether. Either way, I love my LG hanger, as I'm sure you do too.

I agree the LG hanger has been the best that I've used so far and I've hung exclusively with different vacuum hangers because the captain wench was to uncomfortable.

I'm not knocking your way of doing things r24555 but after I pump the first time I test the grip with pulse pushes which I think acts like a vacuum version of a jelq and will bring about expansion and grip and is faster than sitting there for five minutes. Then again privacy is an issue for me sometimes so the quicker I can get into the set safely and hang the better. I'm also not crazy about the not wrapping the head and applying Vaseline because I think Vaseline is harmful on the silicone and I'm not even sure about the plastic of the hanger. If it works for you keep doing it but I think it can shorten the life span of your hanger

There are 3 causes of blisters that I know of:
1. Improper taping or application leading to areas of higher pressure. If the hanger slips a little during the set, take it off and reset it, especially if you feel a itching sensation
2. Too much weight too fast. The penis had to be allowed to slowly get conditioned to the vacuum and weight without allowing over toughening.
3. Too much time for the weight you are conditioned for. You might be used to the weight for say a 30 min set but that doesn't mean you can jump up to a 60 min set with that weight

As you can see hanging can be a tricky science as well as an art. A balance must be made in order to gain effectively and reduce chance of injury

What angles are you guys hanging? Straight down?

I tried hanging using the LG and the power assist like a DLD blaster very intense I could sit like this for hours if I wanted to with the power assist resting on my thighs,to make it more intense you could also do it bundled.

Do you think you can condition your penis to 30HG ?? I wonder how many hours a day some men think they can realistically hang. Then again most will likely only want about an inch.

30 mmHg? Probably not but this device has been tested up to 25 lbs and could probably handle more if taken slow enough. I've gained over an inch with another vacuum hanger in the past but this one blows that one out of the water and back then taping wasn't common knowledge

what weight and how long(per day and how many months) did you hang to see the 1 inch gain?

It's in my log. I believe I could've gained more but taping wasn't common knowledge then and vacuum hanging was new. I think I gained it in a year. I got up to around 13 to 15 lbs and would hang 1 to 3 hours most days while I studied, I was in college

I now recommend wrapping with micropore tape like I used to with my Max-Vac first and then wrapping as shown here. I can now hang heavier weights (currently at 12.5, I ran into small blisters and fluid buildup around 10 lbs) without worrying about the skin. All the stress is placed on the tissues themselves. I wrap first with the micropore tape as shown in my routine log, I believe on page 4 and 5, and then over wrap as shown here.

Thanks for this! Most in depth tutorial! I was a bib user. Went back to it recently only because I never experience blisters. Back at the LG. I guess following your directions + really listening to your body helps. If it hurts, lower the weight + the pump. Also, nice directions on working up to weight/pump power.

Edit: Tried this method. Took sometime to do, following instructions and looking at pictures. Before I would get blisters on the head, usually in the same spot. Was such a hassle. Even after taking a 2 week break, it would slowly form again. From using your method, I'm not experiencing any pain. It used to be a bit of a pinching pain in the area that would blister... Would turn red. Terrible! Anyways, really thankful for this post. 15 pounds is what I normally do. Greatest thing about this versus the bib (once you get it comfortable) is the duration you can wear it, versus taking it off every 20 minutes, plus losing circulation.

Another interesting thing to take note of for other users is I am indeed uncut, but have always preferred to pull back the skin anyways and wrap as if cut. I don't need anymore skin, and definitely feel more of a tug when using this method. It may be harder for uncut guys, but mastering it is key, and this tutorial is tried tested and true in my case.

Sadly still experiencing blisters, or the foreskin rolling over itself when attempting this for my uncut member. Going to continue trying variations and keeping the times much lower to check on my unit... Had to resort to my BIB lately ah. Wonder if any uncut users have success pulling the skin back and entering the device that way? Really not wanting to stretch the foreskin even more. I have success hanging with my bib with the skin pulled back, which took me many attempts to master. Trial and error I guess.

Hey thanks for trying it out. I would suggest to check over at PEGym where there is a bigger following for the LG hanger and many uncut guys have worked together. Sadly I just don't have the privacy to hang or do much PE because I currently live with my girlfriend and her family. Hopefully she'll start school in the fall and find a job outside the house but even then I'll be stuck with manual exercises until she gets out of school. Maybe years from now I can return to hanging and knock out that 1/2 inch I want to gain

Okay guys I'm back at hanging. I'm going to go slower this time. If anyone wants to explore different wrapping options I recommend checking out PEGym. The makers of the LG Hanger provide rep support there. A video that was posted there on wrapping that I'm thinking of trying, with or without cross sectional pieces of microfoam tape over the urethra. I've found the microfoam tape to be more gentle on the skin, its elastic and thicker.

Here is a link to the post that linked the video

I think this is a little different than what was recommended in the first set of instructions. Also I wrap simi erect and after placing the hanger and getting to the desired vacuum I wait a few minutes before attaching weight to let the tissues expand and acclimate to the pressure.

So, are guys actually reporting gains with these hangers? I'm convinced these are just an over priced spinoff of the "Max Vac" hanger from a while back. Granted, the Max Vac guy was a total shiester selling a product that was made as cheaply as possible and didn't take care of his customers.

He didn't start out that way it was a shame how it turned out and how the company was ran into the ground.

People are making good gains using this. I made double my gains in half the time with the Max-Vac. I've tried just about every hanger on the market, vacuum and compression, including the bibs and your first generation model and I would rate this one of the best. It's very high quality and customer service has been excellent. I just broke up with my girlfriend and have privacy to PE again but going by feeling I believe I will gain with this as well. Of course as a vet, gains are harder and harder to come by. My unit doesn't respond well to compression over time for some reason But had responded well to vacuum hanging

Glad you responded positively, I wasn't trying to come off negatively. If this product works well for some men, great. What weight levels are you using? How high is the HG (vac) in the cylinder when you hang?

Right now I just started back on Friday or Saturday. I'm hanging 6.25 lbs for 45 min sets. I take the hand pump off once I get set but before the weights I have it at 5 mmHg and after adding the weights it goes up to around 7. I'm going to try to start keeping it in the 7 to 10 mmHg range as long as I'm not getting slippage, definitely no more than 15 till I build back up to it.
