I have had a Bib for a few years, I hang up to 35+ lbs max, usually my first set.

I am curious about the LG because of the extended time that one can wear and the overall comfort a lot of people have had. My concern is the max weight for LG is 25 lbs. I want to use the Bib as my first set to reach fatigue, then switch to the LG.

Is the weight that one wears with a Bib comparable/equal to what one would need to use with the LG?

Yes well you're automatically reducing your weight by a large amount switching to the LG. Hanging for more time with lower weights probably won't do much if anything for you since your penis is already conditioned to higher weights. The real answer is further weight progression. Have you seen the new hanger? If not check out the introduction video on
malehanger01 it explains the new improvements to the design making it more comfortable than the old version as well as the BIB hangers at higher weights.

I just started using the VacHanger3. I like it but the weight I am using now is only 7.5 lbs. i am up to 28 lbs with my LM and rising. fluid build up from the vacuum pressure is something you have to do deal with. i am avoid it at 7.5 lbs and will increase up to 8.5 lbs soon and see what happens. i am also going to be trying using water with the VacHanger to prevent fluid retention. I suspect if this works with the VacHanger3 it would work with the LG as well.

how long to you wear you bib for when hanging 35 lbs? how long do you want to wear the LG hanger after your first set with the Bib

I do 20 minute sets for the Bib. However, I work my way up to 35 during the first 5-7 minutes of the set, starting from 20lbs and moving in 2.5lbs increments.

I want to wear the LG maybe for a 1-hour set after the Bib

Interesting design, I do have issues with pinching at those points. I am hesitant though to put money on a new design without reviews out. Especially as I was planning on buying a Phallosan. Are you backordered now? I've always thought some of that pinching helps from slippage. Does this new design have any added slippage as a result of the top and bottom not being pinched? I would think it would work similar to a Lengthmaster as a hanger given the lack of pinch points

No I no longer get back ordered as the polymer parts are now injection molded for me. You will see a lot more feedback on this hanger soon when my ad campaign on PEGYM starts. Slippage comes from not having enough grip/compression. That comes from not enough wrap and/or hanger tightness.

By the way DLD did say in another thread here on MOS he has no issues with me suggesting my hanger.

The reason I toe out so much is because of the pinching, I'm thinking the larger grip areas would be good for an even hang.

I read one of the LG review threads on another forum, and the guy mentioned how he had once hung 35 lbs with Bib similarly. He, however, quit using the Bib and was achieving fatigue during hour-long sets with the LG hanger at 7-8 lbs. This is what is getting me curious on the weight comparison between the devices. Could this be true? There also seems less of the weight being taken by the skin.

I have also not even got to fulcrum hanging yet; I still have to go straight out (I feel I have tapped out BTC after an entire month of nothing - no feeling in the ligs or gains - and I am now doing straight down). Hence, I feel that there is still potential use for me with the LG down the road perhaps.

The LengthMaster has a very broad hanging chamber with deals with much of the stress by spreading it across the chamber. I have hung very heavy weight with it and had no problems. The other benefits is it can be used with 2 handed stretching, it can do bundles and it can do all of the PowerAssist exercises. For the price you get so much from it.

Yes I have also seen guys talk about the fatigue they feel from the extra long sets they can hang with almost no weight. Big deal. Fatigue does not guarantee gains. If a guy has conditioned to a higher weight, then reduces several pounds and hangs a much lower weight, for more time, he may feel fatigue, but he's not forcing new stretch, not forcing new adaptation to higher resistance, etc.
I have not read of men reporting better gains from dropping weight and hanging longer times. At least not those who were conditioned to higher weights.

My one question for the OP is how long have you been hanging and how much have you gained considering you hang such a high weight of 35 lbs? I would be very interested to hear how much you gained.

I have gained .5-.75 inches since starting at the beginning of March 2014. I also had to take the month of August off. Unfortunately, I measured while lying down thinking the measurements while standing are the same, which they aren't so that's why I am not sure. I had previously done a few years of Bathmate pumping, which got me temporarily .5 inches in length for awhile, but .25 permanent girth.

I have both it's a strange thing the soreness that I get from my bib from using it for many sets I can get that same ache from a hour no break In the lg @ less weight . now if time and home life accommodate me I do a 20 min in the bib straight down @20lb then once circulation Is back I will swap to the lg @ 10lb. For a hour then if my glands aren't irritated to much I put my phallosan on for bed and leave it on as long as possible . Don't manage the phallosan allot tho as my skin is a mess with all this so I use a protector cap filled with nappy cream till it's back to normal

Just wanted to update that I got the LG and I really like it. I do get fatigue even with 9-10 lbs (started at 8.5) - I've been hanging with the fulcrum mostly (I'll do 20 min fulcrum, 10 min straight down or BTC just as a precaution so that the fulcrum doesn't cutoff circulation as I use a PVC pipe). Before I really had to be in a good mood to even complete 1 hour of hanging in a day (20 minute sets) so I would rarely hit 10 hours per week. Some days I was just sick of it. it was in some way painful whether it be skin or head or whatever and overall just tiring - take it off, wait 10 minutes, go again, perhaps have too much skin soreness or head pain to even go again. I did this for over a year.

It's just very easy now and I sit for long periods of time, just hanging away, doing other things on the computer at my desk, walking around lightly at times to multi-task.

I also must say re: not being able to grow once you've used heavier weights. I don't believe that's true. While I was waiting for my LG (for 4 weeks as I didn't have enough cash), I wanted a little bit of a deconditioning break, I stopped everything except Phallosan and would wear that over 10 hours per day. I mostly had it on yellow (I had already been trying green levels for 2 months) and only on the tail end would I go to red levels for periods of time. I did see a 1/8-1/4-inch gain.
