Love the idea of this thread :) crossed my mind awhile back, thanks.

Chose Katy Perry and the track E.T. ft Kanye West.

Always liked the track, the electro elements fused in well using her vocals, and Kanye aids it with is part.

The video is excellent .. nothing sexual to me, I love the sheer creativeness to this, wonderful! this is ART.

Goodness... this is dangerous... SO MANY AMAZING MUSIC VIDEOS , SO LITTLE LIFE. A lot of these artists just keep giving and giving, but I'll try to stick to just a video for each.

We'll get the depressing one out of the way first.

This one's actually pretty fucked up when you remember that kids that age don't act.

The absolute kings of crazy, minimalist music videos , go watch everything they've done.

I tried to stay away from obvious classics... but I couldn't NOT include this.

What, you didn't know Walken could dance?

Yes, he's a sili artist mostly known for parody work, but there is incredible attention to detail in his parody videos . You could watch this over and over and over and still be catching little details and references!

It's incredible enough just watching footage of this legend, but then they went and put it to music...

I swear to you all my intention in coming here was NOT to break the thread. It's all Haursen's fault, really, for posting such a dangerous topic. Let's all blame him!

^ Met the love of my life with this playing in the background .. not around anymore, but I love this song.
GREAT years back then .... happy HAPPY times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Korn, have done since I were a kid ..these are a couple from the 2016 album "The Serenity of Suffering".

Great old Slipknot, and I love Kill pop which is from the 2014 album ... awesome new drummer, but left behind was the track in 2001 off Iowa that introduced me to the knot ... I was hooked!

Heavy shit, dont really listen to CC but I liked this track, shows the heavy extreme talent :)

Got all 30STM albums, and love them to this day. Excellent performers.

Huge fan of the Italian Lacuna coil, they are peaking now but still more to come.
Great cover, touching vocals by Cristina.

I really hammered this track back in 2006 on wards after I saw this video from a free Metal Hammer DVD .

Give it a view, the video has a good story behind it, in that the man has a girlfriend who is a stripper [sound familiar] and he becomes very jealous when she does her job .. it start to eat away at the relationship.

They were a decent British metal band, dont know where they went to.

This is the German band Rammstein with the track Sonne. First time I heard about this German metal crew, and I really digged the material.

Another heavy track, this time from Canadian metal nuts Strapping Young Lad led by the incredibly gifted Devin Townsend. Titled Love.

This was another track I hammered during 2006.

Pink Floyd with the track Comfortable Numb is amazing, and I love this classic so much. Guitar work starting five minutes in is sheer class.

This is a dance track by the Anglo-Norwegian Alan Walker with Faded. I dont know what it was about this that hooked me, its quite emotional and thought provoking for myself ... the singer is from Norway, cant remember her name though.

Talented and I share.

My favorite band in the 90's growing up was The Prodigy, and this track Firestarter was actually banned at one point from the UK t.v, plus they were not allowed to perform on top of the tops because they apparently scared the kids! I was a kid at the time :) The guys are still banging out shit to this day, and imho are what true dance should sound like ...yeah!!!

Great dance track from Prodigy with Smack my bitch up that came from the same album in 1997 as firestarter with fat of the land

Emotional track, and one that had serious meaning for Bono singing it as its a tribute to his late Father.
Sometimes you cant make it on your own has helped me when my daughter died, singing to it helped.

"MUTTER" Das ist mein teil ..." Yeah, saw them a couple of times. Good shows! So far Brawn's list has hit many things that are on my radar as well.

Well, here are few albums I've listened to lately.

Both from 1983. Don't understand the language and don't care, I feel the rhythm and melodies. (And 80's guitar sounds. LOL Love that chorus ...)

Edit: I like Barry White a lot, thought of the song related to this thread's name! Also Teddy Pendergrass and Isaac Hayes ... So many good artists are gone. Thank goodness their music lives on!
