I've been having problems with discoloration and hyper pigmentation do to a rash that made my skin darker when it healed. I just heard about this now and I'm going to ask my dermatologist about it. Has anyone ever tried the laser treatment? Does it help?

A few guys here have reported success with using Apple cider vinegar. I think laser treatment could be painful but I have never tried it. I would probably try bleach before I put a laser beam on my penis

Apple cider and vinegar really lol I have a feeling that would work for others maybe but I doubt me. They use lasers on people's eyes and face dude if this can get rid of the discoloration with only light scabbing as a side effect it seems worth it and the before and after pics on people's faces looks good. Thanks for the tip though.

You might give a topical vitamin c serum a try. Maybe around 10% for starters.

Are you sure you can even do laser treatments on a penis?

Idk how effective those topicals are smerc I need something stronger. They do it on people eyes why not penis?

They may have prescription topicals as well to get rid of post hyper pigmentation or discoloration.

I understand. I just wasn't sure if it's anything like the fraxel treatments which cause bleeding of the skin due to the high heat zapping the deep layers.

The topicals might not work, but they're around $20-30. If you're going to dish out $1k + for a laser session, then I don't see the harm in trying to do a more non-invasive treatment. You also might look into DMSO.

How long have you had the discoloration?

My benefits would cover the laser therapy if I can get it I'm going to make a dermatologist appointment ASAP to find out. I have dmso and paba that I never used because I think it will only irritate my senesetive skin.

I've had discoloration ever since I put down the BM and a rash made the discoloration worse so I would say over a year. My body is pale white and my penis is dark tan/red with a big patch of red covering almost the top shaft.

If I can get the laser treatment I think the benefits will outweigh any side effects that might occur.

Also I saw a picture on Google with the laser treatment removing white papules on the glans which people were talking about on the forums. I have them too so the discoloration and papules can be taken care of in one swoop.

Well, if your benefits package covers laser treatment then I would say go for it. That's if you have faith in it working.
That's a damn good insurance if it does cover it. Usually only medically necessary treatments are covered. Now if it's a type of skin disorder, then that's different.
Be nice if the derm could just label it that way, so the benefits would take over the cost.

Sucks that you were not able to get any responses on past experiences. You may be one of the few that have tried it for this purpose.

Would it be just a normal derm that would partake in that procedure or a derm that is in the urology niche? I wonder how many have training for performing in that area.

Smerc your a genius! Lol I didn't even think of that I was going to tell the Dr. it was discoloration mixed but your just saying blame it all on the condition and run with it hahaha I'm going to do that to.

Exactly sir it is a good benefit program it's my parents I'm only on it for a short period of time.

And yes I was able to get things considerably cheaper do to my condition.

That's cool you put it like that because we will see if it actually helps with the discoloration. I will bring back any feedback with urgency lol I'm going to book an appointment asap.

On whos doing it would be the derm but I'm not sure if the Dr. himself does it or I get sent someplace else to get it done.

The laser looks like it clears way worse cases so It looks like it's worth a shot with the plan that we were talking about. Thanks smerc, wish me luck guys I will report back.

I'm not going to pump in a long time I have enough length work to keep me busy if I do pump in the future it's going to be very light to avoid discoloring. Besides I have to make use of my benefits while it lasts.

As simple as this sounds it has been effective for many guys since it has been introduced. I would suggest giving it a go before spending the extra money on laser treatments, it may save you time and money.

Apple Cider Vinegar Treatment

Yeah I'm surprised every day to see how little discoloration I have from just using ACV and I use my BM for 30-40 minutes daily, so you know it should look like an egg plant haha

Yes. The aloe vera plant (plant) works great for discoloration. Not the cream. The plant. Its like a cactus that is filled with green aloe gook. The shit works. Just rub the green stuff on and let it dry on you. No lie.

Have you considered a cream with Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B-5)? If the discoloration is due to blood cell deposits then such a cream should help.

I forgot to mention. There is also topical niacinamide which lightens pigmentation. Only seen studies for facial skin though.
